Fandoms, NaNoWriMo, and the Holidays

Let's play catch up. I actually DO have posts in my queue this time, I'm not just saying it, so when I say I'll do a 'real' post soon I mean it!
No really.

I'm taking a break from my NaNoWriMo novel (which I am significantly behind in...whoops) to write this blog post because to be honest, I need to clear my head.

Since my last post, my life has picked up again. I'm not as stressed, I'm a bit more at peace and enjoying my activities, I went on a trip and to a Doctor Who convention, I'm writing, I have my phone and computer back, and I am honestly enjoying all my fandoms right now.

I'm writing my 4th NaNoWriMo novel, and I'm getting to write it with one of my best friends, Ashie!! We've been doing a ton of writing lately, which has proven to be the most needed fun and creative outlet that I've had in a while. :)

My sister Glory is also writing a NaNoWriMo story this year, doing NaNo's Young Writer's Program. I am so proud of her, she keeps coming into my room to tell me her wordcount and her latest ideas. So proud of my baby!!!

sHE'S GETTING SO BIG GOD HELP ME

As far as 'real life' goes, Dance is going well, I am becoming more and more invested in teaching, which is taking up a lot of my energy. I got sick over the weekend and ended up not going to dance most of this week due to feeling so ill. I think I needed a break though, I was so tired!

Our Holiday show is in 2 weeks and I am quite nervous, seeing my group isn't exactly prepared. Extra practices next week should help though!!

That is like my favorite picture right now, I just took it tonight but still...I was sitting on top of a stack of blue mats observing and writing for NaNo while my sister took her lyrical class. It was pretty fun actually. ;)

So fandoms!! I went to Hurricane Who over last weekend, and we had a BLAST. My parents had a great time, and my mom ROCKED as River Song. :) Glory dressed as the Queen of Years from the Series 7 episode "The Rings of Ahkatan" and she won first place in a costume contest, which was judged by one of the curators of costumes and props for BBC! SO COOL.

We went to Downtown Disney for the day before going home from vacation, it was so nice. :) I loved that trip, I really needed to just get away and go do something else for a while!!

I've been bonding a lot with my Embie lately, because of weekend sleepovers and vacations and dance and everything. I'm so blessed to have her in my life, she keeps me sane (and crazy) and I love her. We made a lot of great memories together while at Hurricane Who!! :)

The Christmas season has started for me!!! Christmas dances are finished, and our show is in a couple weeks...
The lights in my bedroom are up!!! I love it. It's so festive and warm and cozy in here. They go around the whole perimeter of the room, creating such a fun glowy light for the entire room to bask in it's GREAT. And with my Christmas music playing on Pandora....I am totally in the spirit.

And Starbuck's red cups are back!!!! I had a Peppermint Mocha Latte and well....
It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas.

So how are you guys?? Everyone doing okay? Merry Christmas!! Good luck with NaNo, WriMo buddies!!! If you want to add me as a writing buddy on NaNoWriMo my username is Jedi-Chick. ;)

I promise posts soon!!! I'm planning one on my current obsession, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and I'll do a (spoiler free!!) review of some of the movies I've seen recently, including Thor 2 when I see it Saturday!!

Thank you for reading, Loves!!

Xoxo!

why

why do i even try blogging
i just went on a retrospect-filled journey with Autumn, going back to the beginning of our blogs and reading (mostly cringing actually) about all 2010-12 brought us. Despite 2012 only being a year ago, we've grown and matured so much (heh, mostly) that it's very weird looking back. Especially way back to like early 2011 late 2010...(the dark ages. we don't speak of it)

anyway, how is everyone? good? still blogging? no?

I've fallen off the blogging bandwagon. within good reason, though. I am currently home only one day a week, doing school in the mornings and spending my afternoons at the dance studio, where I teach 6 classes, take 4 of my own, and serve as our company captain. I go to orchestra on Monday nights where I am in a quartet (it's a really hilarious quartet, we are insane but sound pretty good so that's okay)

i don't have much else going for me right now. I don't have a phone, computer or reliable iPod even, so everything is kinda difficult. I've discovered the glory of Google Docs for writing, so I've been able to write some the past couple of weeks. I've gotten caught up on school, which keeps growing. Our puppies are obnoxious balls of fur and have taken over our house (along with the ticks they bring in from outside. ew.) and my weekends are filled with Embie sleepovers, dance practice, errands and chores and now starting to get ready for the holidays (isn't that crazy???)

what else?
Fandom is falling down the drain too, I am like 4 episodes behind on Legend of Korra, due to it coming out while I am in dance and I have gotten behind in going back to watch it.
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is the best show on TV and I love it so much it's literally the only thing getting me through the week these days (no computer, no phone, no sanity....i need SOMETHING to cling to)
on the brighter side, I have gone to several small conventions lately with my family. We went to PalmCon, which my mom did a blog post about, and then Ultracon both of which were super fun and a great time.

Oh yeah it was my birthday, I'm 17 now and I feel old. i had a great birthday, my theme was Sofia the First and Fairies because even if I feel old I don't have to ACT old haha
It was a lot of fun though and I got a Captain America hoodie from Embie that made my LIFE it is so comfy and has the hood with the eye holes and everything she is the best.

I really have nothing other than dance to talk about, so I'll just go ahead and talk about it.

I teach 6 classes, ages varying from 3 to 7. I also am captain of our dance company, so I help with the "Munchkins" (3rd-4th graders) and the "Bows" (5th and 6th graders) and the "Tens" (my group, 7th grade and up). Those are our self proclaimed names, adorable right?
We have holiday productions already in progress, as well as separate dances. I'll share.

that's my group's holiday number. we start at :47 and go until about 1:30, and then it switches to the next dance

this is Glory's group's holiday number. it follows ours.

And then

that's the little kids' holiday number. So cute.

Our separate dances consist of:

this is my group's alone-dance. it's fast and high energy and I am out of breath by the time we're done.

THIS IS GLORY'S GROUP'S DANCE IT'S MY FAVORITE DANCE EVER I LIKE IT WAY BETTER THAN MINE IT'S SO CUTE AND FUN AHAHHHH.

And then my munchkin babies do Footloose and it's the cutest thing ever

yep that's it that's all I've got we're busy choreographing and practicing running these dances over and over and over

We also have a Beyonce medley that consists of "End of Time" "Crazy In Love" "Who Run The World" and "Single Ladies" and it's the best ever

I think I forgot how to blog

I just saw the clock and decided I better get off now. Enjoy the songs. Is anyone still alive out there in that blogger world?

Live Long and Prosper,
Grace xoxo

Carry On My Wayward Son

Someone needs to smack me upside the head for joining yet ANOTHER fandom...but I finally tackled a big one on my list.

Supernatural.

This technically is not my fault you know.
(I'm lying, I am completely to blame.)
When in the Keys for the second time this summer (we went for a week without my parents, it was just me, Glory, Embie and my grandparents) I literally spent all day every day upstairs watching Supernatural with my cousin.  We left the room to eat and watch the sunset and that was pretty much it.
Do you realize how much Netflix one can watch in a week?
Three seasons of Supernatural.

I am currently in the middle of Season 4 and I have no intention of stopping anytime soon (so sorry mom. don't worry, school will be coming first)

Oh man. This show. I don't think I've stopped crying. Dean Winchester.

DEAN WINCHESTER.

I HAVE HOPELESSLY FALLEN IN TOTAL LOVE WITH THIS MAN.
I DON'T THINK I'VE FALLEN THIS HARD AND THIS QUICK FOR ANY MAN BEFORE.
I JUST CANNOT.

*WHINE*
His eyes. And his BODY and his VOICE AND HIS CAR AND HIS ATTITUDE AND WHEN HE CRIES I BAWL AND I JUST CANNOT HANDLE HIM OR THIS SHOW I AM SO DONE.

I want that boy for Christmas. o3o

The show itself is fantastic, not just because there are incredibly hot men in it. The story is compelling, the characters are BEYOND LOVABLE ;_; and the action is absolutely thrilling.
I won't lie...I am a complete and utter WIMP. I always have been. Guess who hasn't ridden the Haunted Mansion in Disney World since she was like 10? Me. Guess who can't walk into a Party Store to get her birthday decorations because her birthday happens to be in October?? Me. Take a wild guess at who got the living daylights scared out of her while at the Keys because she has a cruel and EVIL cousin and she let her guard down? Yep, you're right. Me.

So I have gotten a tiny bit scared by Supernatural (hahahahahahahaha tiny sure hahahahahaa).  I've slept with the lights on a few times, I got paranoid a bit and I have a sincere fear of leaving my bedroom at night, but hey, it's worth it. This show. Guys. THIS SHOW.

My ringtone is now Carry On My Wayward Son and I GET ALL CHOKED UP WHENEVER I HEAR THAT SONG so naturally it's my ringtone I am doing what my mother calls "Self inflicting pain" Oh well.

I am already planning cosplays for this show...I LOVE IT.

More things I love about Supernatural:
It abbreviates to SPN which is easy to type on Tumblr and stuff.
It has EXCELLENT music in it and my obscure enjoyment of 70's/80's rock music has only been added to.
I know stuff!! I know things about legends, lore, mythology and history that show up in the show, including a ton of Bible references.
It includes the Bible! Tons of horror shows and movies completely write out the Bible, while SPN has ANGELS in it. (Castiel is coming into play and I can tell you right now I am going to love him he is gorgeous and also awesome)
I could successfully ward off a demon or spirit thanks to this show.
I KEEP CRYING THEY REALLY KNOW HOW TO STAB YOUR HEART, TWIST IT, AND PUNCH YOU WHERE IT HURTS. I HATE IT. BUT I LOVE IT. DO YOU SEE THE PROBLEM????
I should probably go to a therapist for all the emotional damage the Winchester brothers are causing me AND I HAVE 4 SEASONS TO GO BEFORE I'M CAUGHT UP.
Season 9's premiere is right around my birthday and I really want to watch it o_o
DEAN WINCHESTER.
SAM WINCHESTER.
CASTIEL.
BOBBY SINGER.
DEAN WINCHESTER.
DEAN WINCHESTER.

i love him so much :'(

Have you gotten the point?

Warnings for my more conservative fangirl friends...
There is quite a bit of language in this show, even more violence and more blood than I realized the human body could produce.  It is a HORROR show. It has stuff out of horror movies. I want to say "Oh it's not that bad" because I LOVE IT but to be honest it is that bad and I wouldn't recommend it to younger viewers or anyone who is afraid of stuff like that (I DON'T KNOW HOW I DID IT GUYS).  If you can handle the language, violence, blood and horror, you can add Satanic and Demonic themes to that. Yes, it references the Bible, but Dean and Sam kill the BAD GUYS, so each episode has bloodshed and destruction, usually caused by a demon or vengeful spirit. Keep that in mind as well. Other than all those things, this is an awesome show with great humor, witty quips and lovely men and I just love it so much I don't know what to do with myself.

Also the title of this post is Carry On My Wayward Son.  That is the theme of Supernatural. And you'll go into like "where does the song come in what does that mean" and then YOU FIND OUT AND YOU CRY ON THE FLOOR IN A LITTLE PUDDLE OF TEARS BECAUSE THE EMOTIONS KILL YOU.
IT HURTS MAN.

I leave you with the song of my people.

Saving people, hunting things...
Welcome to the Family Business.

Pandora Radio and Summer Writing

My last post was a busy summer catch-up post. This one is a little more thoughtful, I suppose.

The last two weeks, I was in the Florida Keys. I spent time outside looking at the nature, hanging upside down on our dock staring at the sky and discussing how beautiful God's creation is with my dear cousin Embie.

The rest of my time in the Keys, when it was too hot, too rainy or too mosquito-y to be outside, I spent indoors, relaxing in our good-ole bedroom upstairs at our vacation house.  I wrote an entire novel in 8 days, spent countless hours just writing, plotting with my sissie Ashley-Tara and listening to music.  This brings me to my post.

Have you heard of Pandora Radio?  Most have.  Most use it often.  I have used Pandora off and on a lot the past year or so, we have it available on the Roku on our TV and I have the app on my iPod and phone.  I didn't realize how much I truly cared about Pandora Radio until going to the Keys.  Embie LIVES on Pandora, and thus played her stations for me, introducing me to all sorts of new music.  Some instrumental (PERFECT for writing) and other new age-y/electronic type music.  We discovered our affinity for accordion music and my deep appreciation for lower-string music.

I learned that the song "Pumped Up Kicks" is my current favorite, and that the viola cover of it I found online makes me happier than anything else right now.

(that's the viola cover that I listened to at least 30 times in a row while in the Keys)

"A Music For A Found Harmonium" is a brilliant story thinking song and definitely puts me in the mood for plotting and idea-brainstorming.

Movie soundtracks of all kinds are helpful, as well as Skillet's songs, which I didn't really listen to before Ashley introduced them to me.  This one is my current favorite.

I wrote a novel, as previously mentioned.  40,000 something words, plus a follow up story I wrote the other night.  I didn't go to the Keys intending to write that much, but I ended up doing so.  My creative juices flowed like no tomorrow and I totally went with it, gorging on junk food and having enough sugar and caffeine to keep me up until 5 writing more than once during those 2 weeks. ;)

I would just snuggle up and write all day.  It was the most relaxing and fun thing I have done in an extremely long time.  I didn't worry about anything, except the fates (or rather, demises) of my characters, and when I needed a break, I went downstairs and got a freezy-pop and walked down on the dock.

I think that during the summer, we are often so caught up in life and doing something important over the three month break from school (well, for some. I haven't gotten that break exactly) that it's often forgotten to just relax.  Going to the Keys was a wonderful time. We spent time outside, we went to the beach one day, we watched nature, we saw dolphins, we ate pie, it was great.  I felt so relaxed and at ease.  I didn't have to wake up at a certain time (the goal was before noon), I didn't have to do school (though I did do some reading), and no shirt, no shoes, no problem was the motto.  I spent 90% of the trip in the same outfits, new favorite gym shorts, and the same three tank tops.  Carefree was my favorite word, I didn't have to stress about a thing.

Despite my relaxation, I was very busy! I wrote a NOVEL guys!! In 8 days!! That's nuts! Not that it didn't take a toll on my psyche, writing that much.  At one point during our trip I was so caught up in the story that I got downstairs for snack time and started crying into my chips because WOW EMOTIONS.  It was intense.

Another emotion-avoiding tactic I used to keep myself from snapping after sleep deprivation, too much intense emotions and really junky food for a week and a half straight was making bracelets.  I've learned all different styles and I'm pretty proud.  We have all sorts of colors and Embie and I are bracelet making machines. ;)
I'm a professional at making the fish bracelet (as seen with the red/white/blue colors above), which I somehow keep making even though that isn't what I was aiming for.  Oh well.  New style it is. ;)

Now we're home, (going back to the Keys in a few weeks however!! YES!) and it has been raining since we got here. Today it is POURING. I woke up at 10:30 to my mother telling me to make sure my room doesn't flood and also that she was making tea.  Happy soothing rainy day music was playing, the house smelled like pretty candles, Mom was sewing, and my sister just woke up as well.
Today is a creative day. I sent a story to a friend, I've been editing and rereading things this morning, and I'm listening to Pandora.  Today will be a good day.

I leave you with this song, which I very extremely unsuccessfully sing every time it comes on my Pandora.

*ahhhiiieeehahhheeehauhhhahhahhhhh ahhhhehehehhahahheeeauhuehaheuahhh wwhwhwhahuehauehuahhwuhwueheuheuhwahhhh*

No one can ever say that I did not try.

Thanks for reading, more to come from my clear and some-what sane mind soon!!

xoxo,
Grace

Spontaneous Summer

WELL.
I SUCK AT BLOGGING DON'T I??

Sorry. I didn't mean to go this long without blogging, but I've spent a long time kinda thinking about all the stuff I have to blog about and just let it wither away because it's just SO MUCH.

So this will be my recap post. Now that it's summer and my super-stressful time is pretty much FINISHED, here you go blogosphere, I'm back. :)  I'll cover everything from my last post which was *CRINGES* for May 4th. O_O Aack!!

So what have I done? Super speed with pictures.

I had my dance dress rehearsal during May, sometime after May 4th. I was stressed as HECK because I had to get from dance to an orchestra end of the year banquet/concert and AAHH. I made it though, and it all worked out. :) I was so happy!!

The following week we went to Orlando for our annual Homeschool Convention and Disney's Star Wars Weekends!!! I had a BLAST. I got to visit with friends, see Ashley Eckstein again, go to Homeschool seminars that were FANTASTIC (and that I should probably still post about) etc. :)

My family is adorbs

I'm super fabulous. Glo and I had a photoshoot at the homeschool Con.

Reunited!!

My sisters. Spent the whole weekend with Stephanie and Savanna. :)

Glory and I met Rex and Ahsoka!!!! FLAILING ENSUED. :D

The highlight of SWW for me was getting to see Ashley Eckstein again...I love her so much!! She's the sweetest person you will ever meet. :)

we took a selfie! XD

SWW was a fantastic experience. I am so glad I got to go!! :D  I'm already anticipating next year!! So glad I got to see friends and just have a fun time. :) I rode Star Tours 7 times during our trip, and it was a blast each time. Riding Star Tours with a group of friends is the best experience in the galaxy. ;)

Upon returning home from Disney, I fought off a cold. Savanna wasn't feeling well that weekend, and she probably gave her sickness to me (thanks Vannie).  I fought it for a week though, and refused to get sick due to having a dance recital and end of the year stuff going on. I got through my dance recital with minor distress, almost missed my tap dance due to too much running around and doing buns for a bunch of 12 year olds, but I made it. The recital went GREAT and everyone danced beautifully. :) Good news is that I'll be dancing even more next year with our studio's Dance Company!! Woohoo!! I love to perform!

That same weekend we also went strawberry picking, and I NEVER KNEW HOW MUCH FUN THAT WAS. This summer so far has been "Spontaneous Summer". We've been doing all sorts of random things and just enjoying life. :)

taking a selfie with a dinosaur was one of the best things I've ever done

I'm trying to make sure I have everything straight in my head as far as catching up on my summer goes....thank God for Instagram or I would get this all wrong. XD

I read The Fault In Our Stars by John Green (and I should probably do a review on it, yeah?) and bawled my eyes out for several days. OH MAN. THAT BOOK HURT. I read it in 2 days.

even my tweet made me cry

I did a lot of babysitting that week, which was very good. Oh I forgot to mention, straight after the Dance Recital, I got sick. Really sick. I had an awful sinus infection with a cough attached to it and it lasted more than a week. I finally got rid of it in time for us to go to Sanibel Island for the weekend!! :D

We love to Road Trip in our family. Especially Spur-Of-The-Moment trips. We grab Embie, throw our stuff in the car, and take off down the road. :D Hilarity usually ensues whenever we're on roadtrips, and thus I blog about it on my Tumblr Blog. :)  This is the tag for it. XD On The Road Again Blog Tag

That was an awesome trip. We drove to Sanibel for the day to escape the gloom of our very stormy South Florida weather. We had an AMAZING time. We got to swim and see dolphins and a baby octopus and collected shells and everything and just WOW NATURE.

The following Monday I started Orchestra Camp. :) Oh man, best two weeks spent with music EVER.

I took a ridiculous amount of pictures of my lovely Viola during those 2 weeks.

This is the song our quartet perfected and played during camp.

My quartet consisted of me (on Viola) my friend Matthew on Cello (we sat together in orchestra all year so we were excited to be together again) my new friend Stephano (he's a Whovian!!!!) on Second Violin and Ashley on First Violin. She's a Supernatural/Doctor Who fangirl, and we exchanged Tumblr URLs. ;)  So we had a rather obnoxious quartet with a lot of laughter, inside jokes, and hilarity. We're going to stay together as a quartet during the year too, and our first mission is to play fandom music (from Doctor Who, Star Wars, Sherlock, and various Video Games!!) ;)

After week one of camp, our family took ANOTHER weekend getaway to go to Orlando. We attended Hurricane Who Summer Nights and Spontaneous Summer returned with another blast of fun for the whole family.  We got to road trip again!

Embie taught me about her favorite music interests, and I shared mine.

That was a really ridiculously early trip. We got to Orlando by 10:30. O_O
Keep in mind it takes us about 3 1/2 hours to get there.

I am not a morning person.

We had lunch at the T-Rex Cafe in Downtown Disney. *score*

Since we were going to a Doctor Who event, we all dressed in our Her Universe and Doctor Who gear. ;)

That evening we went to the little mini-convention, and it was super cool!! I got to meet some new fandom friends, and we all exchanged Tumblr URLs and everything. We spent the evening talking about Cosplay, Doctor Who, Conventions and every other fandom we're parts of!! ;) My mother got many compliments on her hair.

See? New friends!! I've kept in touch with all of them via Tumblr. ;)

We met Dan Starkey, who plays Commander Strax on Doctor Who!!! He was really nice and hilarious!! It was super cool getting to meet him and listen to his panel. :)

We came back home and I returned to camp, having a great great great time and enjoying myself and learning a TON. I hurt my shoulder from playing viola so much, and callused my fingers on my left hand from so much practice. I was incredibly proud because I got my first "viola hickey", and still have a little mark on my jawline and shoulder from playing so much. WOOHOO PROFESSIONAL INJURIES AND STUFF YEAH!

Our concert went flawlessly. Our group went from Obnoxious to Most Improved and the top quartet, as judged by the coaches. ;) I am so proud of us. We sounded great, and I accomplished more in less than 30 hours of practice than I ever thought I would.

After our concert (which my whole family attended and my parents both cried with pride *YEESSSS*) we had a lovely celebration, including food, shopping and movie night. :) My parents went to a Brad Paisely concert while Glory, Embie and I had a sleepover and watched Wreck-It-Ralph and Monsters Inc. Such a great night!!

But, my good fortune didn't last. I fell ill that night with vertigo so bad I was pretty sure I was going to either throw up or pass out (or both!) The vertigo lasted 2 days, and by Sunday morning when it wasn't gone, I had to go to the doctor and get some medicine. I had a really messy sinus infection which forwent giving me a stuffed nose and instead decided to unwillingly put me on a carousel spinning at superspeed and slow motion at the same time.  :P BLEEH.

On Sunday, despite me still feeling like crap, we went to see Monsters University. I'm glad I sucked it up, because I REALLY wanted to see that movie, and I enjoyed it immensely! I highly recommend it!!

Now that I'm almost 100% better (occasional dizzy spells and still on a crap ton of medicine...) I'm starting to finish up some summer school work. We're doing Marine Biology and I'm working on Literature. I'm actually off to work on that now!

So thanks for catching up on my rather Spontaneous Summer thus far, I hope to keep you up to date with the rest of our goings on. I know we'll be heading to the Keys soon, and I'm sure I'll be blogging about the beauty and hilarity that always ensues when we go down there. ;)

Thanks everyone! Have a great summer, and sorry I'm so bad at blogging!! I need to keep tabs on this!! Geez!

Xoxo,
Grace ;)

May the Fourth be with You!

Happy Star Wars day everyone!!!!! :D Today is the 4th of May...ironic Star Wars pun....May the Fourth be with you!!

Today's been a kind of crazy day for me...I woke up really early (OK, not THAT early but for homeschooler-me it was incredibly early and I was not pleased.) and went to take my SAT tests.  They went really well, the Force (and Fourth) was with me!!! :D

After that my family went to go celebrate Free Comic book day today by hitting up all the comic stores nearby and getting some (you guessed it) free comics!!!! I got to see some friends and had a great time! :)

I'm really excited this May the Fourth because I'm feeling pretty excited about some Star Wars related things. I realized a few weeks back how much I REAAAAAAAALLLLLYYYYY love Star Wars. I rewatched A New Hope and realized that WOW. I have dedicated my life to a movie series!! It's a beautiful, crazy, obsessive series and there's nothing that makes me happier. ;)

I've met my friends because of Star Wars.  And it hit me the other day how big of an impact I've made in the lives of others. It made me cry. A lot. In public. Because look at this....

We're in the Star Wars Insider.

About December of last year, sometime after Christmas I believe, my dear friend Lillian Skye emailed me and asked if I wanted to help her submit an article to the Star Wars Insider's Bantah Tracks about The Lakehouse Forum Sisters at Celebration VI.  I immediately said yes, and we got to writing up an article and picking pictures.  We sent it in and got an email back from Mary Franklin saying how much she liked our story and she'd be publishing it soon!!  Soon in the Magazine world ended up being about five months later, but that's okay. We're featured in the May/June issue of the international magazine, Star Wars Insider. This is like a HUGE honor. Our pictures and my name (as well as Amaranthine's) is in the magazine!!!!! I'm amazed and so excited!!! I saw it in the middle of the comic book store and shrieked and started blubbering because MY FRIENDS!!!!! :D The article is lovely, and it honestly made me feel amazing that I helped bring these girls together!!! Ashley Eckstein's Her Universe was the starting point and I helped bridge the friendships together. :) My own included! It's incredible what God can do with a lonely teenager obsessed with a movie series. ;)

So happy Star Wars day. Happy Movie Series That Made My Life The Way It Is day. Hope it's a great one. ;)

Love,
Grace/Jedi~Chick/Fallon ;)

Currently

Currently Listening:  I've been listening to two different bands lately. Imagine Dragons is one, and Fun. is the other. I really love these two songs particularly, as I've been singing them OBSESSIVELY lately.

Currently Reading:  Not enough. :P I've been rereading the X-Wing series because I LOVE IT SO MUCH and I haven't gotten past Krytos Trap so I'm kinda being a loser there.  Other than that, I just finished reading the update of my good friend Pink's Ahsoka and Anakin FRIENDSHIP story that made me freak out and I highly recommend it: Once a Jedi

Currently Drinking:  Water? I lost my water bottle...I had one that I bought at dance last week and I've been reusing it.  Know what my favorite beverage is right now? Watermelon Juice Cocktail. Don't scoff, it's delicious.

Currently Missing:  Just about all my friends :(  Especially Autumn. It's hitting me that it's been almost a year since I've seen her and I really really really hope that we get to see each other this summer. I miss Savanna too, but I'm really counting down the days until Star Wars Weekends where I'll spend the weekend with her and Stephanie. I miss everyone!!! D:

me and audy D:

Currently Watching:  Doctor Who. Or rather, reruns of Doctor Who. Glory's watching it in the family room while I sit in my room and become a hermit.  I also watched the premiere of Warehouse 13 last night and CAN I JUST SAY THAT I REALLY REALLY REALLY LOVE THAT SHOW AND I WANT EVERYONE TO EXPERIENCE THE AMAZINGNESS THAT IS WAREHOUSE 13 BECAUSE I LOVE IT AND REALLY CANNOT EVEN.

Currently Feeling:  I feel kinda flighty. I've been doing geometry all day long and it's been rainy and blah outside and I JUST WANT TO RUN AROUND OUTSIDE OR SOMETHING OR GO TO A STORE OR DO SOMETHING I CAN'T FOCUS ON ANYTHING RAAWWRR. I'm going crazy!! I've been slap-happy like three times today just from being stir crazy I guess. XD

Currently Writing:  An AU fanfic for my Star Wars AU: ORPAS (Of Rebel Pilots And Starfighters).  I published a very squealy girly cute oneshot I wrote on our ORPAS website if you'd like to see it. The AU story I"m writing is slightly (*COUGH way) more feelsy. XDD Everything goes pretty much downhill for the Klivians after that story. I gave them their one happy moment at least. ORPAS site

Currently Loving:  My red converse, dance, Doctor Who, Avengers, the Star Wars Insider that TLF was featured in (Bantha Tracks!!! EEEEPPP) being a grown up, my cousin Embie, being finished with Math, Lindsey Stirling, Imagine Dragons, the new Her Universe merchandise, and The Clone Wars.

Currently Wishing:  That Star Wars Weekends would hurry up and get here!!!! Also that I could see Autumn this summer and possibly get a new cell phone, depending on how much money I save up.  In that case, I wish for more babysitting jobs too!!

Currently Excited:  For Star Wars Weekends. Repetitive much? I'm also REALLY REALLY REALLY excited for Iron Man 3 which comes out this Friday but I'll be seeing it on Sunday!! I'M SO EXCITED MY PEPPERONY FEELS AHHHHH

Currently Stressing:  About the SAT test I'm taking on Saturday (though I think I'll be okay, plus I can repeat the test up to 4 times), my orchestra audition results (won't find out until the end of May! :O) my end of the year orchestra concert that conflicts with my dance dress rehearsal and a bunch of other things that I need to make decisions on. :/

Currently Completed:  This blog post, and also Geometry for the year. Well, I will have (but I haven't yet! Haha River Song quote BOOYAH).  Tomorrow I'll be finishing the last two units of math and take the final, making me officially FINISHED with Geometry for this year!!!!!! THANK GOD.  GOOD RIDDANCE.

Thanks for reading, I have like 5 or 6 blog posts in drafts that I just haven't been pushing myself to finish. :P I'm sorry!!! Will do SOON. Until then, go look at my Tumblr. http://authoressviolist.tumblr.com/
