This is gonna be a short post....because I will be working on bigger and more amazing posts in a few days! :D
First of all, my Christmas was AMAZING. I am so blessed!!!! I had an amazing time, and I will be taking tons of pictures today!!!! ;) Probably tomorrow, I'll get an epic post up with all my pictures from Christmas! :D
Second, I watched Captain America last night!!! It was an INCREDIBLE movie, definitely now on my favorites list! I loved every second of it, and it made me cry!! xD (shocker) Expect a review post on it soon!!!!
Third, I'll be going on vacation soon!!!! WOOT!!! I will have wi-fi, and I will have my laptop! :D I'll be working on blog posts and fanfiction while there. ;)
Fourth thing, and then I'm almost done....I have a lot of school to get caught up on. ;P Math, Science, Essays...but today should get those solved! Then I can focus on my upcoming project with my amazing friend Savanna, from Pandas, Lightsabers and Cameras, oh my!!! :D

Well......it's true. XD It's Christmas Eve, and it's a gorgeous 88 degrees and hot and humid here in South Florida! WOOT!!
In case you haven't noticed, my Christmas excitement is immense. XD
What do I have to do today.....hmmmm......we have to:
Finish making more cookies.
Deliver presents and cookie tins to our friends at random places like the neighbors, the fire stations, my grandma's house, the local 7-11, Wal-Mart, Publix and many many more! ;D
We have to take all our gifts to my grandma's house, and pick up my great-grandpa. :D
WE NEED TO PICK UP DINNER! WE ARE EATING PIZZA!!!!!!!!! FOR CHRISTMAS EVE DINNER! :D
see that? that's a Christmas pizza. it's a boot. or a stocking. I honestly don't know.
Then we go to my grandma and grandpa's house for Christmas Eve!!!!! We eat our dinner (PIZZA!) and then we celebrate! :D We have dessert and fun and sing and play musics, and then we go on a walk! :D (I am dreading this part, because it is too hot outside) xD When we go on our walk, Santa Claus comes! ;D

We have tons of fun, as a whole family (all 8 of us!) and then eventually my family goes home. :) We watch a Christmas movie on TV, and then my parents put me and my sister to bed, (we usually have our separate rooms, but my sister and I always sleep over with each other (tonight it will be in her room) on Christmas Eve.) ;) Mom read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" and then we sleep!!!!! (well, kinda) XD
The next morning, we wake up, and SANTA COMES AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YAY FOR SANTA!!!!!!!!!! ;) LOL. ;) (Just so you all know, I'm just being super-Christmas spirity today. I am just having fun, for all you Santa Claus hatahs) ;) Hehe!!!

:) I couldn't get my Fangirl Blast post written in time.....so I will be putting that up soon....until then, enjoy this very sarcastic/crazy fangirl post I wrote a while back! ;)
The Mortis Trilogy in Star Wars: The Clone Wars never fails to make me want to fall on the floor, in a crumpled pile of fangirl-tears. And not the good kind either...the depressed-the-world-is-going-to-end-over-my-fictional-obsessions kind of tears.
You see….I remember watching The Mortis Trilogy on Cable Television when it first came out, which is now bordering on a year ago, and I remember being locked away in my parents bedroom watching the episodes on their small TV so I wouldn’t disturb my family with my freak-out-fangirl moments.
Now, something you should know about me is this. I am emotional. Books, fanfics, movies, TV shows and even some internet articles make me want to break down. Whether it’s of tears of happiness or tears of sadness….I am often in a very emotional state. Some might even say I’m crazy, but I beg to differ.
Anyway….rewatching The Mortis trilogy did nothing to help my emotions, seeing all the drama, emotional torture and trauma that occurred to my favorite characters. So much happened that I still can’t comprehend it sometimes!
Soon after Mortis aired, I bought “Alter Of Mortis” on my iPod, so I could rewatch it whenever I wanted. I seriously can quote the entire episode, and I love it. That episode is my favorite one of the entire Star Wars: The Clone Wars Saga, I believe.
Ghosts of Mortis is a killer. Seriously. TCW cast really pushed it with this episode….and it bordered being incredibly non-cannon. But then again, with the way this episode ended…did Mortis really even happen? It’s really confusing and honestly it could have all been just a dream! We don’t really know.
The scene where Anakin learns his fate from the Son utterly destroys my emotional psyche. Seriously, between the music, incredible animation, and just the SCENE ITSELF, I am a fangirl blob on the floor…..distraught and crying for my characters.
Anakin Skywalker is one of my favorite characters…and fangirl-wise, he’s a HOTTIE! Even TCW Ani is cute….he’s very well animated. ;)
Ahsoka has been and probably always will be one of my favorite characters, she’s a GIRL and she kicks BUTT!
Obi-Wan is a flipping legend and he’s….well, he’s OBI-WAN! I kinda feel bad for Obi in these episodes….he doesn’t do much except watch his former Padawan flip out turn to the dark side, cry and more, and watch his Padawan’s Padawan turn to the dark side and then die. Seriously. He’s pretty much an innocent bystander in all of this, not really doing much.
Anakin’s learn-all moment in Ghosts of Mortis kills me. It’s awful! I hate to see him break down like that, and then FALL FOR IT DARN IT! I am soooo writing a fanfiction story where Anakin realizes what he could become, and then FIXES IT INSTEAD OF GOING DARK SIDE PREMATURELY!!!! GOSH DARNIT WHY TCW? WHY?
Okay, excuse my mini-rant there…..
Let’s focus on Ahsoka for a minute. Ahsoka gets put under some messy Dark Side spell, and dies. SHE DIES! And then magically comes back to life! “Alter of Mortis” is my favorite episode for these reasons:
A.The action! It’s incredible! Anakin VS Ahsoka?!?!! YES!!!
B.The DRAMA! OH MY GOSH THE DRAMA! Anakin cries, Ahsoka dies, and Obi-Wan stands out of the way! (put that in the tune of Jingle Bells and we’ve got a new classic folks!)
C.The music! Oh wow….just listen to the song that plays when Anakin and Ahsoka are dueling it out….it’s EPIC!!!! I am dying to have a TCW TV Show soundtrack.
Now for Anakin. These episodes are very focused on Anakin. He GOES TO THE FREAKING DARK SIDE!!!! Poor Ani….
Anakin’s emotion is incredible in these episodes. He cries many times (something that I apparently like in my fictional men…?) and he goes through personal tragedy with his mother, Ahsoka, and then his future. It’s just amazing!
Another really cool thing about Mortis was the ‘cameos’ with the other characters….Shmi Skywalker made an appearance, Qui-Gon made two appearances, and Adult Ahsoka even came into the picture!!!!! It was really cool guys, you have to admit that! I loved seeing Adult Ahsoka best out of all those ‘cameos’. She was beautiful and really haunting almost!!! (Which is kinda ironic, seeing the other two were…uh…ghosts.)
Other ‘appearances’ that were made in the Mortis trilogy happened in Ghosts of Mortis, when Anakin sees visions of what is to come. He sees Emperor Palpatine, The Death Star, Alderaan exploding, a youngling, Padme being Force-Choked, and even Obi-Wan’s “You were my brother Anakin!”. I seriously cannot watch that scene without sobbing. I can’t even think about it without tearing up!!!!! It’s just so incredibly intense!
Anakin’s shocked “I will do such terrible things.” After seeing his fate is just torture for an overly-emotional fangirl like myself. The scene between Anakin and Obi-Wan on Mustfar…..Oh you know, this one:
Obi-Wan: Don’t try it Anakin, I have the upper hand.
Anakin: *force leap*
Obi-Wan: *slicey-slicey*
Anakin: AHAHAHHHOAGHLAKHOAJLAAHAHA *strangled cries, rolls downhill into pit of fire*
Obi-Wan: You were the Chosen One!!!! You were supposed to destroy the Sith, not join them!!! To bring balance to the Force, not leave it in Darkness!!!!!! You were my brother Anakin…..I love you.
Anakin: I HATE YOU.
Me: *blubbering mess of tissues, messed up hair and tears*
That scene. Well, the Clone Wars mini-version of it is NO BETTER. And when the mist forms Darth Vader’s helmet behind Anakin, with the powerful Imperial March theme playing….*shudders* I get chills just thinking about it!!!!
I hope this clears up some stuff on the Mortis Trilogy for you all…and how I reacted to it. Then again, you might just all think I’m weird. O.O
Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year! Who DOESN'T like Christmas time?
I can't think of too many people...only Scrooges. ;)
But for those Scrooges out there.....I can see why one might not like the Holidays. From the First of November to the First of January, the stores are packed, traffic is horrible, people can be rude, stores will run out of things, and there are always those /annoying/ (who thinks there are a few annoying Christmas carols out there?! I can think of a few annoying ones, but I love them all too much....xD) songs on the radio! What's a Scrooge to do?
For me, Christmas is definitely the most wonderful time of the year. I love the music, the atmosphere, the friendliness of most people, the smells and the tastes of the Holidays. The Christmas season really starts for me after Thanksgiving. It's just like, once Thanksgiving is over....it's officially Christmas time.
And here we are, only 8 Days until Christmas! :D I feel like yesterday was literally JUST Thanksgiving. ;)
Christmastime brings memories of family, fun, laughter, joy, good food, presents, and amazing Church services. I seem to forget all the stress and trouble that comes with the season of giving. :P
To get to the happy memories....a lot of work is needed!!! Shopping, cooking, baking, more shopping, partying, celebrating, family togetherness, finding that perfect gift, avoiding crowds, avoiding lines, it all comes at the holidays! I'm thinking about my personal experiences here....
My mom is the most amazing mom ever. She does everything (except cook)!! She does EVERYONE'S shopping during the holidays.....without her, Christmas wouldn't happen! She shops, she puts it all together, and then we celebrate. I can understand her stress. We're all always a bit stressed at the holidays.....with so much to do, for only what, one and a half days?!
This is why we need, need, NEED to remember that Christmas IS NOT about finding the perfect gift, not about shopping and beating crowds, or getting each other presents. In fact, we shouldn't even be getting anything.....because IT'S NOT OUR BIRTHDAYS.
It's Jesus's birthday! We should be celebrating HIS birthday! HIS birth!!! The birth of a Savior who comes to rescue a broken and sinful world from their mistakes! Too often, we forget this fact during Christmas time......and we honestly shouldn't. It's the REAL purpose of the season. My church has an ongoing project called "THE GREATEST GIFT", where you give Jesus the greatest gift (financial gift) that you can, for HIS birthday. You can give it anywhere.....to the church, to the charity of your choice....wherever God lays it on your heart to donate the money. :)
So this season....as we near Christmas Day......promise to yourself and to the Lord that you know it's NOT about you....it's about Jesus. Try hard not to get caught up in all the stress that comes at the holidays....it's not worth it. This is supposed to be the Season of Giving! The season of Love! :D For goodness sakes, it's CHRISTMAS! Enjoy it! But remember the true reason for the Season!

Character: Ahsoka Tano
Fandom: Star Wars: The Clone Wars
Facts: Ahsoka is a Torgrutan Jedi. She hails from the beautiful world of Shili and is a padawan under the Chosen One, Anakin Skywalker. Ahsoka was given the nickname "Snips" by her Master, because her snippy, easy-going attitude proved her deserving of such a name. She has grown as a character and as a Jedi throughout the four seasons of TCW, and so far Ahsoka is a very popular character among both girls and boys.
What I like about her: Ahsoka is AMAZING! She's one of my favorite characters! She has amazing character development, and as a teenage girl around Ahsoka's age...she's easy to relate to and fun! :) I love the style of her design...she's so PRETTY! And I love how sarcastic/sassy she is...and her and Anakin's relationship. ;)
What I don't like about her: Hmm....I don't know! XD I love Ahsoka a lot. I love how she really learns and grows throughout the show. I can't think of any negative points about her.
What I wish did/didn't happen: I really really hope that Ahsoka doesn't die. XD or at least...if she DOES die, I hope it's doing something MEGA HEROIC! :D
Pairings/Shippings: Okay...*cringes waiting for the hate comments* Rex and Ahsoka. HEAR ME OUT. I think that if Ahsoka WERE to fall in love, Rex would be the logical choice....over....say....Lux Bonteri. :P Rex is sweet and caring (as many episodes have proved) and he has a real HEART. :) Ahsoka and Rex both share many character traits, and I could see them as a couple. Plus, I'm a sucker for Jedi/Clone romance after writing Reaching For The Stars. ;)

Shadows of Shili: One of my AMAZING BESTEST SISTAHS EVER, JediKnightGirl (or Tara) ;) wrote this story!!!!!! It's still in the works, and it is just AMAZING! I love it to pieces, and can't wait for her to continue it! :D

Character: Mara Jade-Skywalker
Fandom: Star Wars Expanded Universe
Facts: Mara Jade-Skywalker is one of the EU (Expanded Universe)'s main characters. She becomes one of our heroes....Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Leia Organa by the end of the Thrawn Trilogy. Mara has seen pretty much all walks of life. Raised to do Emperor Palpatine's dirty work as the "Emperor's Hand", and then left on her own to make a name for herself, Mara Jade becomes an employee of Talon Kardde, and eventually gets into trouble with our original trilogy gang. After ten years of friendship, (which is good, considering at first Mara simply wanted him dead) Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade got married. (8DDD <333). She joined the New Jedi Order officially, and became the Jedi Master of Jaina Solo later on. Mara Jade-Skywalker had an unfortunate (ahem....stupid, needless...why was it written?!??) end to her life by a certain Darth Cadeus. She still lives on in the memories of her family (AND ME).
What I like about her: I like just about everything about Mara!!!!! She's so EPIC! She's kick-butt as a Jedi, Smuggler, and the Emperor's Hand. Her character is really complex, and minus the "I wanna kill everyone" thing, she's a lot like me. I love Mara....I have ever since I read the Thrawn trilogy.
What I don't like about her: SHE DIES. I hate that she dies. XD I also hate that it takes her and Luke ten flipping years to get their act together! ;P
Something I wish did/didn't happen: I wish that they (they meaning the profic authors) had included Mara in more stories....given her and Luke more time together, and eventually her and Ben (and Luke) more time together. I kinda hate that they are ALWAYS fighting for their lives. JUST GIVE THEM A BREAK, OKAY??? xD

I will review The Last Crusade first, because I liked it INFINITELY better. XD
Stars: 8/10 stars
Liked: It was a good movie! It had good scenes, funny dialogue, and it showed Indy's relationship with his dad. I loved the history of the Holy Grail, and everything that happened in the climax/ending.
Disliked: The girl. I don't even remember her name, honestly. XD There were also a few /slower/ parts, that I had already seen the first time I watched this movie and didn't feel like seeing again. XD
Favorite Scene: Like I said, the ending. I loved how Indy really loved his dad and was willing to risk his own life to save his father's. :) DRAMA!!!! ;)
Overall Thoughts: Great movie!!!! Family friendly for the most part, and full of action!!! My second favorite Indy film. :)

Kingdom of the Crystal Skull:
Stars: 3/10
Liked: The music....a /few/ quotes.....some of the action....that's it....
Disliked: The whole movie. XD I did NOT like this movie AT ALL. I hated the scene with all the ants (I HAD NIGHTMARES. I have a bad fear of bugs...) and I didn't like that Indy *SPOILER* married *END SPOILER* Marion. She's not my favorite character AT ALL. XD I have seen the light of Willie Scott, LOL :P.....don't be offended anyone, I am just voicing my opinion. I also hated that the answer/reason of the Crystal Skull was ALIENS. HOW STUPID. :P Also, Indy and Marion were both SO OLD.
Favorite Scene: I didn't really have one. I hated the whole thing. XD
Overall Thoughts: Don't waste your time folks.....the original Indy films were MUCH better....

Star Wars Episode II: Attack Of The Clones:
Stars: 8/10
Liked: I love all the Star Wars movies! This one isn't my favorite, but I do like it well enough. :) I love Anakin and Padme (though I realize after watching this movie again that they aren't my favorite couple), and Obi-Wan is EPIC. There are a ton of great quotes from this movie, and plenty of action as well!!!
Disliked: Anakin is kinda annoying in this movie. He's whiny and honestly he's pretty bratty. He complains about Obi-Wan too much, and is a bit angry...XD I also don't like Jango Fett....because in my eyes he's not half as epic as he's made out to be. :P
Favorite Scene: Anakin and Padme's wedding......<3
Overall Thoughts: Great movie....especially if you're a romancey person. ;) Great action, and fun quotes. Not my favorite Star Wars film, but still exceptional.
Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
Stars: 9/10
Liked: Oh man, about all the movie! It's super duper depressing, but it's amazing. The story line is epic, the characters are amazing, and the quotes and music are at their best.
Disliked: Everything from where Anakin turns to the Dark Side onward. XD LOL not really. Other than the fact it makes me bawl....I love this movie. :)
Favorite Scene: I love the scene where Padme tells Anakin about her pregnancy, and as much as it breaks my heart, the scene with Obi-Wan and Anakin's battle on Mustafar!
Overall Thoughts: The Star Wars saga at it's best. I love this movie so much!!!! But not as much as the Original Trilogy! It's a depressing, tragic film, but definitely one of the most AMAZING movies EVER.
Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope
Stars: 10/10
Liked: What's not to like? This movie is all around AMAZING. I love everything about it, it's truly the beginning of a Saga. What do I like....hummm....LUKE SKYWALKER. <3 X-WINGS. <3
Disliked: How whiny they make Luke out to be......
Favorite Scene: The Battle of Yavin....the Death Star scenes with Han and Leia.....The Throne Room scene. ;)
Overall Thoughts: EVERYONE ON EARTH SHOULD SEE THIS MOVIE IT IS AMAZING. How can you NOT like this?

How To Train Your Dragon: Gift of the Night Fury:
Stars: 10/10
Liked: Well, it /was/ a short show, but it was AWESOME. SO SWEET and SO CUTE and SO PERFECT. It was just in time for the holidays, and REALLY REALLY CUTE! :D Hiccup and Astrid were flipping ADORABLE, and Toothless makes me wanna sob with adorableness. I LOVED every second of this...I wish it were longer!
Disliked: NOTHING. NOTHING. It was so cute, there was nothing to dislike!!!! It was practically fanfiction come to life!!!!!!!!!!
Favorite Scene: Either the scene where Astrid and Hiccup are talking with each other when Hiccup's building Toothless's tail.....or towards the end with Astrid and Hiccup again. :) And the scenes with Hiccup and Toothless because I am dying to have a real life Toothless because he is SO SWEET. <333
Overall Thoughts: YOU. THERE. GO WATCH THIS NOW. HERE I'LL EVEN GIVE YOU THE VIDEO I WATCHED ON YOUTUBE.

A Very Potter Musical: (I know this isn't a movie, but I'll review it anyway)
Stars: 9/10
Liked: The comedy. Heck, that was HYSTERICAL!!!! I haven't laughed so hard in a LONG TIME. The music was GREAT, the choreography good, and it was just SO FUNNY!!!!!!! I want to see this one on Broadway someday! ;)
Disliked: The language. :/ That was the only bad thing. I filtered out most of the language mentally, but it's definitely not appropriate for younger kids. Some of the words aren't appropriate at all but in some scenes, that's what makes it so hilarious! :P
Favorite Scene (and/or song): I love the opening song best, (Goin' Back To Hogwarts) and my favorite scene is anything with Draco in it. Even though he's played by a girl, Draco is the most hilarious character I have EVER seen. ;)
Overall Thoughts: I do not like Harry Potter. I never really have. But now......I at least like A Very Potter Musical. Okay...I LOVE A Very Potter Musical. I'm not saying that I'll read the books or anything, but this funny spoof of it made me very happy. ;) I thought it was flippin' hilarious, and I'd recommend it to people not effected or offended by strong language. ;)

The Muppets:
Stars: 10/10
Liked: EVERYTHING. AHH EVERYTHING. I am a huge Muppets fan....die-hard fan actually. I grew up with The Muppet Show...so this movie made me CRY. Chibi and I have been Muppet Lovers for as long as I can remember....I can remember sitting in our room and watching hours of The Muppet Show, laughing hysterically over it. I think we're the only kids EVER who watched the Muppets and who actually cared about the old show. ;) All the nostalgia of this movie had me crying fifteen minutes in. I could relate to Walter...the Muppets were my heroes. (though sadly, I do not have Kermit on my watch) LOL ;)
Disliked: Some of the guest star cameos....not only because I didn't know who they were but I didn't like the actors! XD Haha! :P
Favorite Scene (and/or song): I love all the songs....I had "We Built This City" in my head all night that night. XD "The Rainbow Connection" made me cry and "Man or Muppet" made me laugh hysterically...but then sing along. ;) Also, my favorite Muppet song is the remake of "Moving Right Along" because it is SO CATCHY. :)
Overall Thoughts: Any Muppet fan should go see this movie. It's super sweet, downright hysterical, and a great family film. It touched my heart...I loved every second of it. I was crying at several parts. ;) I hope this movie goes #1. ;)
