Pirate Ships and Birthdays

Wow.  I haven't posted in a few days!  xD  I've been busy though.  Very busy...

Birthdays...........
Today is my Momma's birthday!!!!!!!!!!!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!!!!!!!  :)  Wish her a happy birthday either here, or on her blog.  ;)  We had a very nice birthday breakfast, and I got her a pretty necklace that says "God's Love Endures Forever".  ;) I love my Momma!  ;)  Hope you had the best birthday ever Mom!!!  :D

Pirate Ships.........
Right now I'm sitting in our Shipwreck.  My mom set up a bunch of sheets and curtains to create a 'tent' in our living room.  ;)  It turned out more like a shipwreck with ton of hanging sheets and all our pillows set up.  It's very comfortable and cute, and it makes me feel like a little kid again.  ;)  And now we're watching Loony Tunes as a family.  :D  I love this. 

Okay, now for just a few update sort of things. 

First of all, I think I'm going to try and get some sort of schedule like Qui and Amaranthine have.  I need to come up with something though.  I'll let y'all know.  ;) 

I'm going to update my FanFic page right now.  I know that Endor uses my page (she loves me for it) and I also know that a few girls on Lakehouse have been using it too.  ;)  I'm SOOO addicted to Fanfic.  It's so.....amazing.  I love writing it almost as much as I love reading it.  ;)

I saw Disney on Ice!!!!  It was fantastic!!  I'm working on a post for it.  It was so colorful and really fun!!!!!!!  My favorite part was the Valentine's Day part, the Lilo and Stitch part, and the Princess Tiana/Mardi Gras part.  It was a great show.  :D

Ah!  Well, John Williams has left the impact of Star Wars on my life.  I mean, what's Star Wars without it's amazing music?!?  It inspires me while writing, and while playing my own music.  :D

AHH!  I SOOO can't choose!!!!!  I love them all!!!!!  My top favorites are, Hot Air Balloon, Saltwater Room, On the Wing, Meteor Shower, In Christ Alone, Technicolor Phrase, and SOOOOOOOOOOO MANY MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!  :DD

Jimmy Buffet?  Oh gosh, I don't know.  I was pretty much raised listening to Jimmy Buffet.  My parents like him, as do my grandparents, so I inherited the love of Jimmy.  ;P  I got into him more within the past few years, as my appreciation for my state has grown.  ;)

How does one 'get into' Taylor Swift?!?  LOL, I think all my friends (when I was in school) were into her, and thus I began to like her too.  Now I love her, and so do a lot of my friends and my cousin  and sister.  ;)

Ooh, that's hard.  Again, I've only got one of their CD's, but I think my favorite is Hello Sunshine.   It's so cheerful!!  ;)

Never.  It's so sad.  I know, but I'd LOOOVE to see Owl City Live!!!!!!! :D

Disney music?!?  Are you KIDDING ME?!?!  Goodness knows I could NEVER pick that!!!!!!!!!  My most recent one was today!  Disney on ice....*sigh* It was amazing.  ;)

Selena Gomez?  Umm, not that I can think of.  Most of her music is pretty upbeat and happy.  :)  LOL!

Ooh, that's hard.  Just about any of the Star Wars songs.  My favorite is probably Across the Stars or Luke and Leia's theme.  Or Duel of the Fates.  Or Leia's theme, the Imperial March, Han Solo and the Princess and a BUNCH more.  ;P

Haha....um, what kid wasn't a fan of Disney music growing up???  I fell in love with it when I was born most likely, seeing I was raised on Disney stuff.  XD

Alice in Wonderland and My Weekend Schedule

Wow....
I've been listening to The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland on audio book, and well......it's......really........really........strange.  It's like, Alice is mental.  She needs to go to an asylum or something.  She's really scary.  She wants to kill herself because she leaves the little golden key on the table in the beginning.  Then she nearly drowns in her own tears.  And then she goes and talks to random animals who come and swim in her tear ocean.  THEN, she goes and talks on and on and on about a bunch really creepy/random things.  She has like, suicidal thoughts the whole time.  And I'm only on the first CD.  I kept laughing about the weirdness of it all.  :P

School is so much.  I've got so much stuff to do.  I'm still working on it, and I'm nearly done!!!!!  I already took care of my math test, and my spelling words, and I finished my critique.  ;)  I've still got a few more things to do though. The number one thing is to practice my viola.

My Weekend is going to be pretty crazy.  :)  I'm pretty excited!  LOL!
Saturday: I've got all morning to clean my room and finish my school.  Then I have an orchestra concert.  Yipee.  Then, I have more time to practice my viola.  It's going to be a pretty busy day. 
Sunday will be even more busy. 
Sunday: I've got to get up early to go to my sister's choir concert at our church.  Then I have a viola lesson, and finally, we're going to go see Disney on Ice.  I can't wait.  :D  One of the little kids in my dance class is going to see it too.  She was like, "What if I see you?!?"  I was smiled and replied, "Maybe you will!" and she said, "Then I'd run up and give you a BIIIIG hug!!!"  I she then gave me a hug, and I was so touched. ;)  She's so adorable!!!!!  :D 

So that's my weekend.  ;) 

I'm writing a review of How to Train Your Dragon *the movie, because apparently it's a book*, and that should be up soon(ish).  ;)  Thanks to all my followers and for all your comments!!!!!!!!!

Eek!  I haven't been keeping up with the March Challenge! Sorry!!  Okay, I'm going to get caught up right now.  :D

MAC!!!!   Our family has a Mac, but I have a Toshiba laptop.  It does it's job though.  ;)

I'm sorry!  I don't know who 'you' are!!!!!  So I can't honestly answer that.  :(

Day 21: Have you gotten a package in the mail that was just for you?  What was it?
Ooooh!  When my uncle sent me my Yoda plaque thing!  That made me feel so special.  :D

OOOH, Hard one!!!!  I love a lot of my blogger friend's posts!!  I can't choose that!!  I like a lot of Leia's posts, and Amaranthine's because they make me think.  Qui makes me laugh, and Endor makes me feel like I'm talking with an old friend. ;)  Barriss also makes me laugh, and Rachel and Satine have great blogs too!!!!  So does Andriee JainaSolo.  So.....I can't pick.  xD

UGH I AM SO TIRED!!!!!!

First of all, I didn't wake up until 11:30 this morning, because my (very nice and gracious) mom let me sleep in because I wasn't feeling good last night.  Now I'm better and today was crazy!!!  I got to spend the whole day with my grandma and Chibi*Chick.  :D  I had fun!
Well.  Chibi had a concert at school today, and I went and worked the sound booth for the music teacher, so she could conduct the choir without running back and forth between the sound and the stage.  I had fun and would be very glad to do it again!  I told my grandma to sign me up for the practices, then I could be the sound girl all the time!  :D LOL!  Then we went home for an hour, and then back to the school/church for the actual show.  This time I just watched, but I saw one of the little girls from my dance class there, and she was really cute.  :) 

Okay, enough for now.  I've got to read to my sister, post something on Lakehouse, and then do a little writing.  Oh, and Math.  And Spelling.  And edit a report.  So yeah.  I'll be back on Blogger later.  :)

I'll do this one on...........my newest character.  I doubt I'll ever post this story, but it's my current W.I.P.  ;)  I've been writing this for about a week, and I've got about 5,000 words.  ;) It's very good, I think.  :P  But what do I know?!?  LOL, okay here goes......

1. What is their full name? Leah Mary McCarthy
2. Does his or her name have a special meaning?  Not really, I've always liked the name Leah, and I got the Mary McCarthy part from a Character Name Generator.  :P
3. Does your character have a methodical or disorganized personality?  Methodical.  Definitely.
4. Does he or she think inside themselves more than they talk out loud to their friends? (more importantly, does he or she actually have friends?)  Haha, if I answered this question all the way, it would give away the story.  :P  She definitely thinks to herself.  She has one friend.  That's it.  One friend.  He also happens to be her love interest later.  :P  LOL!
5. Is there something he or she is afraid of?  Losing her one friend, and also (she isn't really afraid of her, just has a strong dislike) the main adversary, Courtney.  (she doesn't have a last name yet.) 
6. Does he or she write, dream, dance, sing, or photograph?  WRITE.  Technically, this is the point of the book.  Leah is a published author.  ;)
7. What is his or her favorite book? (or genre of books)  I dunno.  Fantasy is her favorite genre, but she writes books, so I'm not sure of her favorite.

If We Weren't All Crazy, We'd All Go Insane

That *points to blog title* is my new favorite quote.  It's from a Jimmy Buffet song.  ;)  I'm actually listening to Jimmy Buffet as I type.  I <3 Jimmy Buffet.  ;)  The music is so......Florida-ey.  Makes me happy.

I'm so exhausted.  My weekend was so crazy, I don't know how I managed to do so much! 

UGH!  I want to go back to sleep.  XP

So, my weekend was really, really, really fun.  ;)  First, on Saturday, I went with my dad at 6 AM to a Heart Walk near where I go to Orchestra.  I got 3 hours of sleep the night before, mind you.  :P  Anyway, I walked 3 1/2 miles, but my dad lied to me and said it was only 2.  XP  Bad Daddy!!!  Tricking your daughter into walking 3 1/2 miles!!!  XD  LOL!
So, after that I was pretty tired, but I was okay.  It was only 10:00 am when we got home.  I also bought the first two Kingdom Series books.  :D  So excited to start reading 'em!!!!!  :D

After that, I had to hurry up and get ready for a viola lesson.  ;)  My lesson was long, but I learned alot and have a LOT of practicing to do!  I'm now supposed to practice for 2 hours each day....everyday.  :P  Yippee.

After my lesson, since we were already out, my mom told my dad to go to this nature center near by.  We frequent the nature perseves in town, so we like visiting new ones.  :)  This one was near the beach, and it had a boardwalk that went out by the water.  :D  So fun!!!!! 

Then we climbed a HUGE tower that shot waaaaaaay up into the sky.  I felt so dizzy when I looked down.  XD

That's what we saw.  Those are the trees, and the boardwalk.  :)  It was REALLY high.  Or I may just be short......XD  LOL!  :P

So, after we did that, my sister and I wanted to go to the beach down the street.  :)  We were SO SO SO SO eager to get in or near the water.  :D  My mom agreed that we could go for a while, just to look, since we didn't have our swimsuits.  My sister and I immediately ran to the beach, and walked in the water.  I was wearing a skirt that was almost above my knee, so I was okay to go in, but Nutmeg was wearing long jeans.  XD  She was upset the rest of the night that her jeans were wet!  Here are a few pictures of what we did at the beach:

I got SOOO close to that little crab.  Then it ran toward me and I screamed.  XD  yeah.....

We saw two HUGE cruiseships, and (as you can see in the above pictures) they were SUPER close!!!!!   :D  LOL! 
That third picture is my absolute favorite.  :)  It's so sweet.  :D 
I collected sea beans, which are the coolest thing you can find on the beach.  My new hobby.  :)

BUT WAIT, there's more.  ;)  After the beach, we decided to go out to somewhere special for dinner. 

There.  We went there.  My parents went on dates there.  :)  It was so amazing.  Best. Food. Ever.  BUT, it was SOOO filling!!!  I was stuffed after half of my pork sandwich!!!  :P

Saturday night was the Super Moon.  Click Here for more on the Super Moon.  ;)  I got to see it right over the beach.  SO beautiful.  :) 

Then we started home.  BUT, my dad decided to get us ice cream.  We stopped at the best frozen custard place in the world.  :)  SO GOOD!!!!!  I had banana frozen custard with hot fudge on top.  It was amazing.  I love it.  ;)  Now, we were all insanely tired, and went home.  After showers and dumping the sand out of our shoes, we were ready to go to bed.  Well, everyone else was.  Me?  Not so much.  I didn't go to bed until 3am again.  :P  Bad me.  Bad me.  Instead, I finished up ALL of my over due homework and got it out of the way.  Then I wrote up a few ideas that had been swimming in my head, and today I'm going to write a really fun fanfic that I can't wait to put on Lakehouse.  :)

Sunday was equally as crazy.  Again, I had to get up fairly early, because my dad, sister and I went to our town's art show.  We volunteered in the city's booth, since my dad works for the city.  It was pretty fun, but it was really hot out.  Luckily for me, (we didn't get a lot of traffic, so I was bored(ish)) I got Wi-Fi reception from the nearby Jamba Juice.  :D  I finished reading my new favorite fanfic.  :D  It was AMAZING!!!  I think I posted the link in the fanfiction page.  If not I will, because Endor HAS to read it!!!!  It's all about Anakin and Padme, and they're family.  Family is like the main essence of the story, and it is SOO my kind of AU.  :D 
We ended Sunday by going to grandma's house to tell her happy birthday, (her b-day was yesterday!!!) and then I went home and practiced, and then it was church.  The sermon was good.  :)  I REALLY should get caught up on all my church notes.  XP  sorry!  ;)

Alright, tonight's orchestra night, so I better get off Blogger so we can get ready to go.  :)  I'll post more later.  :D  I've got to update my pages, and do a little re-designing.  ;)  I think I'm going to either do another beachy theme, or possibly something a little more girly.  I'll figure it out later.  :D

I'm a Bee

I'm a busy bee today.  I've got SOOO much to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  O.O  It seems like my to-do list has absolutely no end.  :P 

I'm working on school: a book about Soil (lapbook), a lapbook on worms (ewww), and a re-write of the critique I did for Johnny Tremain. 

I've got Viola: Scales, Solos, and a recital piece.  PLUS, I'm re-learning my positions and posture.  I have another lesson tomorrow.

I've got the miscellaneous: I want to write a few story ideas down that have been floating in my head, READ, fix my iTunes thing, read fanfiction, organize my closet, do a heart walk with my dad tomorrow, volunteer with my dad at an Art Show on Sunday, clean my room, scan fanart I've done for Lakehouse, re-do my Blog Design, change my purse, buy the Kingdom Series books, buy the newest TCW magazine, AAAAAANNNNNNNDDDDDDDD......................oh, wait, I think that's it.  :P

So yeah.  I've got a lot.  PLUS, I had a busy day today.  ;)  And yesterday!  I'll just post on both.  So, be prepared for a long post today.  ;D

Okie dokie, now that that's out of the way! I'll post about my crazy Thursday and Friday.  :D

Thursday was P.E. day.  It was really fun!
Two of my best friends (who usually don't come) came and we got to spend four-almost five hours together!  :)  It was really cool.  I stayed an extra hour and a half to do a fun walk with them, and (it was Saint Patrick's Day) and we got to talk the whole time.  My one friend (who I'm going to call......Pearl (for various reasons)) so Pearl and I got to talk, while my other friend (I'm gonna call him Luke, because he looks like ROTJ Luke) while Luke was stolen away by some random 7 year old girl.  This kid suddenly decided that Luke was her best friend, and walked the whole fun walk holding his hand and leading him everywhere.  It was actually pretty funny, because Luke didn't know the kid, or want to walk the whole time with her, but he was too nice to say no, and both the girl's parents' were there, so he walked with her.  I wore green, like, all over.  I had a green skirt, a green undershirt, a green pair of socks, green marker on my nails, green bandaids, green eyeshadow, and a gold headband.  ;)  It was really fun.  Pearl was a little more crazy with the green though.  She had green marker EVERYWHERE.  She even colored in her lips.  :P  It was really funny.  So, after I spent time with Pearl and Luke, we (my mom, sister and I) went to Chibi*Chick's house for a while.  We talked, ate ice cream, talked some more, admired Chibi's new flat screen TV, and then we had to go home.  My mom had my sister and I do some school for a while, and then I worked on a few writing projects.  I ended up staying up until 3 am last night, because I couldn't sleep and I was busy.  I sent Amaranthine the article for the Lakehouse newsletter, and then I stayed up reading and writing for hours.  Oh, and I also organized ALL my pictures on my computer, which was a HUGE task.  But it's done now.  ;)  My Star Wars pictures are organized by character, and then everything else is in separate folders.  ;)  Eventually, I fell asleep. 

Friday was SO much fun!!!  :D  I actually woke up really late, because I stayed up so late the night before.  My mom wasn't to happy about that, but I got up and dressed quickly, ate some waffles, and then ran around the house with my sister to go to school.  ;)  I did spelling, copy work, devotion, and then the exercises (for my sister's dyslexia therapy) and then it was math time.  As y'all already know, I loathe math.  (I'm not allowed to say I hate it).  I despise it, I dislike it strongly, I very much do not enjoy doing it.......but today I actually had fun.   My mom helped me get through the problems I missed on my worksheet, and then I started on the test.  I was frustrated with FOIL, (first, outside, inside, last) for multiplying factors.  I don't usually like the FOIL method, because it's complicated, but my mom made it fun.  She grabbed a sheet of tinfoil, and shaped it on my head to make my "thinking cap".  I didn't like that at first, and was all irritated, so I balled the tinfoil up and threw it at her.  My mom laughed and grabbed the box that the tinfoil comes in, and used it like a bat.  We balled up a ton of tinfoil, and took turns throwing it at each other, reciting math facts each time we hit it.  I was surprisingly good at Foilball.  ;)  I don't think I've ever had so much fun in math.  :P

After that, we went to Butterfly World!!!!!!  Man, I LOVE Butterfly World!  It's so fun there.  It was really crowded today, with all the spring breakers, but we still had fun.  My sister and I fed the Lorikeets, which are cute little parrots, and one landed on my shoulder, and was licking my hair.  I was laughing so hard, because it tickled, and the little bird WOULD NOT get off!!!!  See:  It felt SOO weird!!!  :D

                                         

After that, we worked on school at Butterfly World, got ice cream, and went to the library.  I love our library.  ;)  Our family always goes to the library's bookstore, which has ALL kinds of great bargain books and movies.  I got Indiana Jones The Last Crusade on VCR for 50 cents.  ;)  I also got the Attack of the Clones novel for 25 cents.  ;)  YAY!!!!  I rented How to Train Your Dragon and Revenge of the Sith, and I got a couple of great CD's.  :)  I got the Fireproof soundtrack (which is AH-MAZE-ING) and I also got The Clone Wars movie soundtrack, and the movie Hoot soundtrack.  All are great!  :)

 The last.......7 hours, I've been catching up on school and trying to do the things in the above list.  I've gotten a lot done, but I still have a LOT to do.  I'll probably be up until 2 or 3 again working.  ;)   Oh well.

Saint Patrick's Day was originally a holiday made to celebrate the works of Saint Patrick of Ireland.  It was an annual feasting day, but eventually it became a world-wide holiday celebrating Irish culture.  :) 
I have ancestors on my Mom's side of the family from Ireland. 
But on Saint Patrick's Day, everyone is Irish!!!!!  :D  So celebrate with me!!!!!!

Day 15: What music do you usually listen to?

Okay, there's a list.  Owl City, BarlowGirl, Taylor Swift, Country Music (mainly from the Radio Stations in our area), Star Wars Music, The Percy Jackson Soundtrack (I got it from the library!!!!  :D), Selena Gomez, Jimmy Buffet, Celtic Women, and Irish music.  :D

I'm SO excited for Saint Patricks Day!!!!!  :D  I'm going to change my blog design just for the occasion.  ;)  It'll go back to my normal one, or possibly a new one after maybe Friday.  ;)

Also, tonight I'm going to a concert at Chibi*Chick's school.  It'll be fun.  :D

I have issues with Math.  :(  Even easy lessons seem hard.  :P 

I'm watching Wild Kratts with my sister.  :)  I LOVE THAT SHOW!!!!!!  :D  It sorta reminds me of Kim Possible.  I'm watching the Platypus episode.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE Platypus's!!!!!  :D  (Platypi? Platypeople?  Oh, you know what I mean.)  LOL, Phineas and Ferb.  ;)

Days 13 and 14

An Excerpt of something I've written......Well, okay!  ;) 

This is the Luke/Mara story I mentioned in the last post.  :)  I LOVE writing it!  It's really fun.  Totally AU, half because I don't know everything that goes on in the EU and half because I don't like what goes on in the EU.  ;)  Enjoy!!!  :D 

Luke walked into his apartment on Yavin 4, smiling about the progress of his day, but sighing in exhaustion.  He smiled brighter as he stood in the doorway of his kitchen, watching his beautiful wife Mara playing with the baby in the Family room while Ben was playing with his toys on the couch.  Luke stepped into the room and winked at Ben, who immediately wanted to get up and give his dad a hug.  Luke silently walked up to Mara and put his hands over her eyes.  “Guess who?” he said playfully, and Mara grabbed his wrists, and twisted them not-so-gently. “I knew you were there Farmboy, I felt you when you were leaving work.” She said laughing.  Luke grinned and rubbed his wrists.  He kissed Mara’s cheek and helped her up from the floor.  She picked up baby Padmè, and handed her to Luke, who kissed the baby’s soft head.  “Hello Padmè!” he said grinning at the baby girl.  Ben popped up from the couch and latched himself onto Luke’s leg, begging for attention.  “Hello there Ben, I didn’t forget about you!” he said and hugged his son.  Ben smiled and ran into the kitchen.  “Dad, Dad!!” he yelled, “Come here!!  Mom let me keep Jumpy in this bucket!” he cried, dragging his dad into the kitchen.  Luke laughed as Mara frowned at the bucket near the back door.  “Ben, you promised it would go back outside before bed.” She said, and Luke laughed again.  “Don’t worry Mara, he knows that Jumpy has a home outside, not in the apartment.  Right Ben?” Luke said lifting an eyebrow at his son.  Little 5 year old Ben nodded.  “Yup Daddy!  I’ll put Jumpy back now.  I promise.” He said crossing his heart and running with the bucket outside.  Luke smiled and looked down at the baby girl in his arms.  Padmè was named after Luke’s mother, just as Han and Leia’s son Anakin was named after his and Leia’s father.  Luke smiled down at the baby….she had little golden fuzz on her head, and bright green eyes just like Mara’s.  Ben shared his dad’s blue eyes, but had Mara’s hair.  Padmè was the other way around.  He rocked the baby in his arms, lulling her to sleep.  Padmè was only a year old, and she was pretty tiny.  Mara leaned against the kitchen counter, smiling warmly at Luke.  Luke, Grand Jedi Master, Founder of the New Jedi Order, was standing at home, rocking a baby.  Mara giggled.  She picked up Ben, and carried him upstairs to his bedroom.  Luke heard Ben ask Mara about their upcoming trip to Coruscant.  “Mama, when will we get to see Aunt Leia and Uncle Han again?” he asked.  “Soon honey, we leave in two days if you’re daddy’s ready by then….”  Luke smiled again.  He shifted the sleeping baby onto his shoulder and walked upstairs to put the baby to bed.

That was only chapter one.  I have five chapters now.  :)  Someday if I ever get a Fanfic account, I'll post it there.  ;)  I'm going to put it on Lakehouse.  :)

Okay, Day 14!

Day 14: Are you late all the time?

Yes, but I really shouldn't be.  Well, I should say not ALL the time, because I make it to classes and lessons on time and sometimes early, but never late.  Schoolwork, getting up in the morning, those are late.  :)

Today is my Grandpa's Birthday!!!!!!  :D  Happy Birthday Grandpa!!!!!!!!!  :D 

Oh yeah, last night was our family dinner party, and it was SO fun!!  :D  Chibi*Chick and Nutmeg and I were CRAZY.  Chibi must have put extra sugar in the cake, because we were sent outside to get our energy out.  It was really fun.  Then Chibi jumped out in the dark at me and scared the living daylights out of me.  I was so mad at her.  :P  Chibi*Chick and I are planning a one day summer camp, *Amaranthine will like:*  Camp Half-Blood.  :)  We're going to have all kinds of events and games that happen in Percy Jackson.  ;)  I'm inviting my few friends who like it, and we'll spend the day playing and hanging out PJatO style.  ;)  SO FUN!  We're already coming up with great ideas. 

I watched Johnny Tremain for the 8th time last night, and I still LOVE that movie!!!!  :D  I fell half asleep during the battle scenes, which I'm still not sure how I did.  *rolls eyes*  Then I couldn't get BACK to sleep, so I wrote for an hour instead.  :P

Okay, sorry for being gone for a while, I'm going to check Lakehouse now. :)

Just a quick update.......and Day 12!

Day 12: What is your favorite shape?
LOL, this question made me laugh for some reason.  ;P  Probably a heart.  <3  Or a Triangle.  ;P

I had my Viola lesson today!!!  :D  It was really good.  I'm learning a lot from this new guy.  ;)  I'm also enjoying it, so I think it's worth the time (and money) we're putting into it.  ;)

I'm still off of the Wi-Fi until my schoolwork is done, which will probably take me a LOOOONGish time. :P  I'm instead occupying myself with writing.  ;)  I started a Luke/Mara fanfic last night that Endor will love.  ;)  LOL!  I'll email it to her, or post it on Lakehouse.  ;)  I haven't decided yet.

Tomorrow my family is having a Dinner Party!!!!!!!!  :D  *squees*  I LOOOOOVVVVEEEEE having dinner parties!!!!!!  Our family is so fun to have dinner parties with!  Tomorrow night, Chibi*Chick, my great-grandpa and my grandma and grandpa are coming over for dinner.  My dad's making Chili, and we're celebrating my grandma and grandpa's birthdays.  My grandma's birthday is next weekend, and my grandpa's is this upcoming week.  ;)  We're going to have Red Velvet Cake.  :)  YUM!!!!  :D

I can't wait for Chibi to come over.  When at Dinner parties, we PARTY.  Like, eating, playing, laughing, dancing, the whole nine yards.  (except drinking.  We're not old enough for that yet.  :P)
My sister made me (keep my) promise to play American Girl dolls with her.  Actually, I like playing with her, because Chibi and I come up with the STRANGEST things to have the dolls do.  Someday, I'm going to write a book on all our crazy doll games.  We've got Matt and Emma, Emily and Emma, The Bitty Baby Game, the Dr. Philkkkkkk Game (that's not a typo), The Magic Moxie Girlz game, and multiple Barbie games.  We haven't  had a good game in a few years I'd say.  :P  Y'all don't know how insane we get when in doll game mode.  I'm seriously going to write a post on them all.   (be prepared for an uber-long post)  Chibi will probably co-write it.  ;)  Nutmeg too.  :D

I went to a big garage sale today!!!!!  Our town does one twice a year.  March and October.  Trash 2 Treasure.  I LOVE it!!!!!  :D  I got a bunch of great treasures.  :)  I got a Qui-Gon and Nabooian fish-thing action figure set, and a Tattooine Micro Figures set, and a bunch of Star Wars happy meal toys.  :)  I got five for a dollar.  ;)  I also got a really cute bag, and I got an old fashioned/ish Kelly doll (from Barbie)  The doll is really cute, and she's pretty big for a Kelly doll.  ;)  I also got an American Girl stuffed animal for 50 cents.  SCORE!  ;)  We also got a TON of great books!!!!  :D  I'm excited!  ;)  I'll post pictures later!  I've got to go finish cleaning/re-organizing my room!

So, I most likely won't be on again until tomorrow night, but I'm not dead (yet) Qui!!!!!!  I hope I can make it through a few more days without Wi-Fi.  I'll be fully back soon.  :)

Day 10

Day 10: If you had to change your Blog name, what would it be called?
Hmmm......probably something more Star Wars-y.  Dunno what though.  ;)

Alright.  I'm excited for tomorrow morning!!!  :D  Our family is going to the bi-annual Trash-to-Treasure sale in the park, and I can't wait!!!!!!  :D  We always find some AWESOME finds there.  I'm hoping to find some special new Star Wars items.......especially because last year there was one booth that was JUST Star Wars action figures, books, notebooks, accessories, etc.  I'm really hoping the same person will be back!!!!  :D  I'm making an action figure wish-list just in case.  ;)  I'll let y'all know if I get anything good.  :D

Also, I'll be on and off of the internet for a few days, because (once again) the Wi-Fi is gone.  *sigh*  :(  I can't seem to keep it, can I???  One measly fight with my sister, and I lose the internet for a week.  Actually, just the Wi-Fi.  My mom's letting me use her computer for everything I want to do.  But it's not the same.  I also need to get caught up on my schoolwork, which I have semi-neglected, so that adds to my what-I'm-in-trouble-for list.  ;(

So, yeah.  No Love Will Prevail update today, because it's on my laptop.  For those of y'all who are also reading Trapped in the Star Wars Universe on Lakehouse, I have Parts 5 and 6 ready to post, but they too are on my Laptop!!!!!!!  Grrrrr........

Oh well.  I've been heading to a lot of Wi-Fi accessible places, so if you need me for anything (Amaranthine and Leia) just shoot me an email.  ;)  I'll be checking it periodically.  ;)

Days 9 and 10

Ugh, sorry I didn't post yesterday.....I ended up staying up too late writing and reading.  :P 

So, onto the challenge!!  :D

Day 10: Who is your inspiration?
Ooh, that one's hard.  Ummm.....my mom and dad.  My grandparents (and great grandparent), my cousin/sorta-twin/best-friend, my sister, Ashley Eckstien, George Lucas, Dave Filoni, Padme Amidala, my friends, Mary Jane Butters, Angie Sage, Rick Riordan, Walt Disney, Victoria Kasten, and SO many more!!!!  ;)

Alright, now that that's finished, on to other things!!!  ;)

I had dance today!!!!!  I also had P.E. 
P.E. was really fun because my friend who doesn't usually come to P.E. came today.  We talked about Percy Jackson like, the WHOLE time.  It was really funny.  Apparently I'm a daughter of Zeus.  ;P  :D
Dance was also really fun.  One of the little girls got upset and ran to me for comfort.  She kept hugging me and wouldn't let go, so I ended up carrying her for like, twenty minutes.   Finally, I convinced her that she had nothing to be sad about anymore and she was ready to dance.  She actually listened. 
Later, I had my class.  I LOVE Tap!!!!  :D  It's so fun.  We have five bigger girls in the class, and four littler ones.  The bigger girls did a 'trick' thing in the middle with the littler girls, and I have to flip a girl who is nearly as tall as I am.  My one friend gets to do a solo flip by herself, because we only have enough girls for four sets of partners.  ;P  :D  We did a good job though, and everyone was there, so we got cookies at the end of class.  :)

*sigh*  That was fun.  ;)
Now, Nutmeg and I are going to do some fangirl bonding, and I'm going to put in Star Wars while we write up our Ahsoka story, and we're going to write up some of the crazy 'funnies' we come up with when we're bored.  She's officially "in" to Star Wars again.  *yays*  This is going to be fun.  ;)

I have sleeping issues.  Seriously.  Last night, I didn't go to sleep until 2:30 am.  I was writing until one, then reading until two, and then I tried to sleep but failed, so I was playing on my iPod for a while.  I found this app that Chibi*Chick installed, and it has all these ultra-calming sound things that are supposed to make you're brain sleep.  I put in the "seductive sleep method 1" and within 30 minutes, I was asleep.  It was really cool actually.  I put it on a timer to play for an hour, and it played soothing ocean sounds, with occasional seagulls calling in the background.  It reminded me of the Keys, so I was in my happy place.  :)  I'm going to use that thing again tonight!  :D

I've read a few GREAT fanfics, so I'm going to update my page.  ;)  For Endor.  :)

Alright, that's all I've got for now, my sister is playing with my lightsaber *I've got to go yell at her for that* and I'm supposed to go help with the dishes.  :P  Talk to y'all later!!!!!!!  :D

Not that I know of...no.  I have family members that used to be, but not anymore as far as I know.  ;)


So.....Is there anything I should write about???  Well, yes there are things I want to write about, but nothing that I have time for tonight really......


My room is SUCH a mess.  I'll be spending all night cleaning it so I can actually get to my bed.  I don't know how it got so piled up.  :P  I have to finish that and then go write my critique which STILL isn't done.  If I don't give it to my mom tomorrow, I get an F AND lose the Wi-Fi (again).  So I better work on that.....

Okay, you see, I've got big plans.  :)  First and foremost, I'd donate to Church.  Then maybe our homeschool P.E. group, because they need the money.  ;)  THEN, I'd put it toward building my own house.  And buying up a ton of antique Star Wars junk on ebay.  :P  Or just blow all that (except the first two) and take my whole family on an extra long Disney Trip.  ;)

Um, probably less.  It depends on where I'm at.  ;)

I have a fear of Algebra.  :P  LOL, I'm just kidding!!!  I promise, just kidding.  ;)  Seriously, I've always had a phobia of bugs.  I get all panicky.  I hate anything Halloween/Spooky/Scary.  I know it's not real, but I still flip out over things.  I must've been traumatized when I was little or something.  Oh yes.....I remember......the Haunted Mansion in Disney.  When I was like 10 or something, I rode it and flipped out.  I left marks on my dad's arm from squeezing so hard.  I haven't been back since.  (to that ride)


18) What's your greatest accomplishment?


Wow.  I don't know.  I guess when we started homeschooling, that was a big accomplishment, and when I got my blog.  That was big too.  :)  Uhhhmmm......*thinking*.......I think that's it.  ;)

Chickens and Turtles.  ;)  Awkward mix, I know, but I love 'em!!!  :D

So, I've got this new idea, to make another blog, for all my random craziness that makes me...me.  :)  I'll post about my chickens, my many collections, and most of all, it'll be for stories of things past, like doll games, summertime, and Disney trips.  ;)  It'll be more of a creative outlet, when this one is my main blog.  ;)  I'm still convincing my mom though, so it'll probably be a while.  What do you guys think?  Should I go for it??  Or does it sound like a stupid idea?

Johnny Tremain

I want to talk about Johnny Tremain.  Johnny Tremain has been keeping my occupied when I’m not doing school during my time of not being on the internet/being sick.  I rented three movies from the Library prior to my time being grounded/sick.  I got, Revenge of the Sith *I needed it for a fanfic*, Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief, and Johnny Tremain.  I already loved Johnny Tremain the book, and was a bit nervous to see it in movie form. 

Disney did the Johnny Tremain movie, so I was a little less nervous, but then I remembered what happened with Swiss Family Robinson.  I had to read that for school, and then went to watch the movie after wards only to see that they TOTALLY changed EVERYTHING!  They left out one brother, and NONE of the events from the book happened, except maybe the very beginning and a part with the Sports Day.  That was like, IT.  I was pleasantly surprised with Johnny Tremain however.  I LOVED IT!!!!!! 

So I’m officially obsessed with Johnny Tremain.  The movie was Ah-Maze-Ing!!!!!!!  I thought the movie was better than the book!!!!!!  :D  I won’t give TOO many spoilers, but I SO loved it!!!!!  :D  If you haven’t read Johnny Tremain, I highly recommend it, but seriously, I thought the movie was great. 

First of all, the boy who played Johnny was SO CUTE!!!!!  :D

The boy who played Rab was also REALLY cute!!!!  :D

Plus, the girl who played Cilla was JUST like I saw her in my head when reading!!!!!  :D

Johnny’s character was done SUPER good, and so was Rab’s.  I thought Rab was better than in the book!  He wasn’t as quiet, and he was more sweet. ;)

I was so thrilled because in the book, *MAJOR SPOILER* Rab Dies! *END MAJOR SPOILER* and in the movie, *MAJOR SPOILER* Rab doesn’t die!!!!*END MAJOR SPOILER*  I was SO excited!!!!  :D  You’ve gotta see the movie.  It’s like an AU.  ;P  LOL, I already wrote two fanfics about the movie. 

The movie takes place during the Revolutionary War time period, a little bit before actually.  I’m learning about it in school, and this book and this movie were perfect for our History study.  Johnny took part in the Boston Tea Party and the battles of Lexington and Concord in the movie, but in the book he didn’t take part in Lexington and Concord.  It worked out better though if you ask me, it was more interesting and beyond more exciting.  J  I loved it!  I know that Amaranthine has read the book, and I highly recommend the movie Amaranthine!!!  :D  I’ve already watched it six times.  ;)

All the major characters were in, but they left out some more useless ones, like Miss Lavinia, Isanah, Madge, Dorcas, Dove, Dusty, The other Lytes, Mrs. Lorne, Rabbit, Pumpkin, Liutenent Stranger, and a few others.  Goblin the horse was in there, and I was really glad.  Paul Revere, Samuel Adams, Dr. Warren, Mr. Lyte, Mr. Lorne, and a few other Founding Fathers were in there too.  It was the same plot, which I liked, only Johnny got to see more action than he did in the book.  ;) 

One of the most important things that stuck with me from the movie and the book was James Otis.  I did a little research on James Otis and he was a pretty amazing guy.  He founded the Sons of Liberty.  He gave the same speech he did in the book in the movie, and it was very well done.  James Otis was injured on his head from some run-in with a redcoat (I think) and he sorta went a little mental.  He still had a few wits left, because he delievered a key turning point speech in the Observer's attic, which led Johnny to decide he needed to go to Lexington to help aid in the fight.  This is what he said, (book version)

"For what will we fight?"         

"To free Boston from these infernal redcoats and…"          "No," said Otis. "Boy, give me more punch. That's not enough reason for going into a war. Did any occupied city ever have better treatment than we've had from the British? Has one rebellious newspaper been stopped—one treasonable speech? Where are the firing squads, the jails jammed with political prisoners? What about the gallows for you, Sam Adams, and you John Hancock? It has never been set up. I hate those infernal British troops spread all over my town as much as you do. Can't move these days without stepping over a soldier. But we are not going off into civil war merely to get them out of Boston. Why are we going to fight? Why, why?          

There was an embarrassed silence. Sam Adams was the acknowledged ringleader. It was for him to speak now.          

"We will fight for the rights of Americans. England cannot take our money away by taxes."          

"No, no. For something more important than the pocketbooks of our American citizens."          

Rab said, "For the rights of Englishmen—everywhere."          

"Why stop with Englishmen?" Otis was warming up. He had a wide mouth, crooked and generous. He settled back in his chair and then he began to talk. It was such a talk as Johnny had never heard before. The words surged up through the big body, flowed out of the broad mouth. He never raised his voice, and he went on and on……..

"…For men and women and children all over the world," he said. "You were right, you tall, dark boy, for even as we shoot down the British soldiers we are fighting for rights such as they will be enjoying a hundred years from now…."            

"We are lucky men," he murmured, "for we have a cause worth dying for. This honor is not given to every generation."              

"It is all so much simpler than you think," he said. He lifted his hands and pushed against the rafters. "We give all we have, lives, property, safety, skills…we fight, we die, for one simple thing. Only that a man can stand up."  

"Hundreds would die, but not the thing they died for. 'A man can stand up…'"

Inspiring, isn't it?  He has a good point.  To me, when he said, "So a man can stand up," I think he meant that when they fought in the American Revolution, they were fighting for the rights to be able to stand up, and say what they think, and be able to have the freedom to think, speak and worship freely.  It's important to have a cause for the fighting.  A war with no purpose, no reason to fight, no real motivation to believe in the cause will just drone on forever and ever.  *cough: the clone war :cough*  Freedom is worth fighting for.  God is worth fighting for.  James Otis might've been crazy, but he seemed pretty sane that day..... ;)

(p.s. in the movie, Johnny said "for the rights of englishmen" not Rab)

This is the song they play (a few times) in the movie.  WARNING: SONG MAY BECOME STUCK IN HEAD!!!!!!!  I had this song in my head for three days straight.  :)  I've grown to love it.  ;)  I even wrote down the lyrics!
