Disney, the Movies, the Music, the Mouse.

Disney.  That word alone creates excitement in me.  xD

Ever been to Disney World (or Land)?

Ever seen a Disney movie?

Ever watched a Disney Channel show?

Ever sung a Disney song?

I'm sure you have.  For me, Disney isn't just a....theme park, or a movie company.  Disney is my LIFE.  I love Disney, Disney World, Disney Merchandise, Disney Movies, Disney Songs, almost as much as I love Star Wars.

*gasp*
Is that even possible??
Yes, yes it is.  (see, Disney quote right there.)

I have Disney memorabilia all over my bedroom.  Stickers, posters, napkins, toys, pins, books, pictures, ornaments, figurines, etc. etc. etc.

I have this picture (in it's original form) ung in my bedroom, all framed and pretty-like.

I wanted to do a post, on all the Disney things that I have (or most/some of them) and how Disney, both Walt Disney and the 'World of Disney' have impacted my life.

Being a Florida native, I have been to Disney World Resort over 1,000 times at least.  I know the parks Epcot, Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios like the back of my hand.  I am probably the only teenager I know who can navigate Epcot all by themselves without getting lost or asking for directions.  (for those who don't know, Epcot is WDW's largest theme park, not counting Animal Kingdom's savannas.).  The only place I haven't been is the Water Parks, because whenever we go, it's either too hot, too crowded, or off season.  :P

I've visited (if not stayed) at all the hotels, and eaten at most restaurants.  I know trivia not many others would know, and I do my best to learn more.

Even when I was young, I loved Disney.  My first trip to Disney World was when I was 7 months old.  I've not stopped going, nor have gotten bored with it yet!

When I was in third grade (i think) I did a report on Walt Disney.  I LOVED doing that report.  Walt Disney is such an interesting person!!!!  He created Disneyland as a place where he and his little girls could go to have fun on Daddy-Daughter days.

His Animation was his pride and joy.  Walt would draw on the side of the family barn when he was a young child, and when he was old enough, he became a full time animator.

Disney Animation Studios is still going strong, with Tangled being their 50th Film.  :)

Then you have Pixar Animation Studios, which has CHANGED the way we look at Animated films!!!

Cars, The Incredibles, Finding Nemo, Up, Wall-E, Toy Story, etc.  These films are to die for.  They are heartfelt, sweet, and just all around great movies.

Now, Mickey Mouse has been a dear friend to me and my family since I was an infant.  My mom grew up loving Disney.  When she was old enough, she worked there on a College Internship Program (which I can't wait to do someday.).

She worked at 'Mickey's Pantry' in Downtown Disney.  She sold pastries.  ;)

My family frequents Disney World Resort at least twice a year.  Sometimes once depending on times and money.  ;P

Our latest trip is coming up in exactly two weeks from yesterday.  So....in 13 days, I will be writing y'all from Disney World.

I am going to go ahead and give you a list of my Disney Favorites, because I am SOOO in the mood for Disney things!!!!!!  :)

Favorite Character:  Tinkerbell.  Tinkerbell has been my favorite character for as long as I can remember.  ;)  She's so pretty and just a fun fairy character!  I'm wearing a Tinkerbell shirt now!  Haha!!  Close in second is Lewis or Wilbur from Meet the Robinsons, Rapunzel from Tangled, Ariel from the Little Mermaid and Chip and Dale.  :)

Favorite Movie:  Very hard question.  I have a list.  Right now, at the top, is:

This list is very long.  It would be safe to say that just about every Disney movie is a favorite of mine.  With the exception of The Nightmare Before Christmas and several Disney Channel movies.  :P

Favorite Song:  Just as hard to answer as movies.  :P  Listing time....
Correction.  If it's on the Music of Disney a Legacy in Song albums, then it's my favorite.  

There are three CD's.  

My personal favorite is Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah, The Electrical Parade song, and Golden Dream from Epcot's American Adventure.  :)  I love a billion more too.  Like from the animated films....Princess and the Frog has some awesome music, Meet the Robinsons has some of my favorite songs on their album, Tangled has the best songs ever, and there are even more I love.  ;)  Brother Bear!  I love that one too!  And Piglet's Big Movie!  XD  I could go on and on.....:P


Favorite Disney Short (cartoon):  I love anything with Chip and Dale, especially the ones where they drive Donald Duck out of his mind.  I love the Clock Tower short, the Mickey and the Seal short, Donald Daddy Duck, Donald Applecore, Lambert the Sheepish Lion, and a TON more.  ;)  They have this station at most Disney World hotels that plays a loop of a bunch of old-timey cartoons.  It's great!!!!

Favorite Pixar Movie:  So hard.  Cars.  Cars one and two.  They both are amazing.  ;)  I also love Finding Nemo.  :)  Toy Story (especially the third one) makes me cry.  xD  But they're great too.  

Favorite Live Action Movie:  Johnny Tremain.  It's as simple as that.  Nothing can compare......XD

Favorite Disney Channel Show (or Toon Disney):  Phineas and Ferb.  I love that show.  It's the only really good thing left on TV anymore....besides Clone Wars that is.....
I loved a ton of the old shows, that are now cancelled of course....like Kim Possible, That's So Raven, Phil of the Future, Winnie the Pooh (don't you dare laugh), and Lilo and Stich.  ;)

Favorite (if any) Disney Channel Original Movie:  Actually, some of the older movies are good.  I loved the Zenon movies (starting my love of sci-fi when I was little apparently), and I also really love High School Musical, Den Mother (a very cute movie actually.  I loved it.), Lemonade Mouth, and a few others too.  ;)

Favorite Disney Princess:  Jasmine, Tiana, Rapunzel, Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella.  :3

Favorite 'Original Gang' (Mickey and Friends) Character:  Mickey naturally.  Closely followed by Donald and Minnie.  ;)

Favorite Park (in WDW):  Epcot.  But I really love Magic Kingdom too.  Epcot has always been my personal favorite.  It combines the future and the past, and cultures and just everything.  I love it so much.  :)  Plus, the 'Big Golf Ball' is epic.  xD

Favorite Hotel (WDW):  Oooh I know this one!  xD  Port Orleans Riverside Resort.  It's my favorite one.  :)

I love a bunch of others, but I really like this one best.  ;) Saratoga Springs, Coronado Springs and Fort Wilderness (cabins and resort) also come in as favorites.  ;) 

Favorite Restaurant (WDW): Oh oh oh!!!  Oooohhhhh!!!!!  I know this!  xDD  I love the Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom, Pecos Bill's in Magic Kingdom, and a few other places around the 'world'.  Especially T-Rex in Downtown Disney, and the Sci-Fi Drive in theatre in Hollywood Studios!

Favorite Ride/Attraction (WDW):  So hard.  xD  Star Tours is (of course) my favorite, but I love just about all the others, with the exclusion of Space Mountain, Mission Space, the Haunted Mansion, Tower of Terror, Rockin' Roller coaster and Mount Everest.  :P  I haven't been on the majority of those on that list.  Except The Haunted Mansion.  I just REALLY hate that ride.  xDD

Favorite Collectible (that i own):  I love my Vinylmations.  I have five.  Two of the five are Chasers (special collectible ones), and one of the two is a Star Wars one.  ;)  I also love my pins.  And I love this Mickey figurine that my momma gave me.  She got it when working in the Disney Store, and I love it.  It has sorcerer Mickey standing on a pretty looking quartz rock, waving his wand.  ;)  <33

Favorite Memory:  Well, since I have two memory slots, I'll just give one for now.  xD  
My favorite Disney memory is of our 'girls trip' where my mom took me, my sister and my cousin to Disney for a weekend, just the four of us.  We didn't rush to go anywhere, or do anything, we just relaxed and had a blast.  We spent one day at Magic Kingdom, and went to lunch at the nearby Contemporary resort.  ;)  My cousin, sister and I went to the arcade, and I won 1000 tickets!!!  We stayed at the hotel pictured above, (we call it Dixie Landings, since that's it's old name) and my mom let me and my cousin go downstairs and shopping by ourselves for the first time ever.  We brought back lunch and got to trade pins with the cast members downstairs.  ;)  By the end of our trip, the ladies who worked in the gift shop knew us by name and gave us hugs before we went home.  xDD

Another Favorite Memory (because I have oh-so-many):  Another one of my favorite memories is when my mom and dad surprised me and my sister and cousin with a trip to Disney for their fifteenth wedding anniversary.  ;)  We got picked up early from school that day (we went to the same school then) and the minute we got to the car my cousin and I looked at each other and we said, "WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY!!!!"  we just knew.  XDD  It was an awesome trip though.  We got our famed 'Adventure Packs' that trip, Tinkerbell backpacks that we have used ever since, and I even made a scrapbook of that trip.  ;)  In fact, I still have that scrap book.  We stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge, went to Animal Kingdom, and the three kids were 'Adventurers' that trip, and we slept on the floor by the window so we could use our binoculars to look at the animals outside.  :)  It was a great trip.  :)

And..........

Suggestion to Disney (if you could give them an idea, what would it be??):  I would suggest for the Disney people to stop playing STUPID things like 'My Babysitter's A Vampire' on Disney Channel and start playing the original short cartoons and episodes.  Also to stop telling people what to do, how to think, and to 'go green' and get back to the imagination concept of Disney.  
(sorry if i offended anyone with that suggestion(s).  xD  I'm strongly opinionated.)  

I decided to go ahead and make this a tag!  I know I've got friends/followers who are/have been/go to Disney  World, or Disneyland.  If you frequent Disneyland, go ahead and change the "WDW" parts to Disneyland and have fun!!!!!

Just a quick update.......and Day 12!

Day 12: What is your favorite shape?
LOL, this question made me laugh for some reason.  ;P  Probably a heart.  <3  Or a Triangle.  ;P

I had my Viola lesson today!!!  :D  It was really good.  I'm learning a lot from this new guy.  ;)  I'm also enjoying it, so I think it's worth the time (and money) we're putting into it.  ;)

I'm still off of the Wi-Fi until my schoolwork is done, which will probably take me a LOOOONGish time. :P  I'm instead occupying myself with writing.  ;)  I started a Luke/Mara fanfic last night that Endor will love.  ;)  LOL!  I'll email it to her, or post it on Lakehouse.  ;)  I haven't decided yet.

Tomorrow my family is having a Dinner Party!!!!!!!!  :D  *squees*  I LOOOOOVVVVEEEEE having dinner parties!!!!!!  Our family is so fun to have dinner parties with!  Tomorrow night, Chibi*Chick, my great-grandpa and my grandma and grandpa are coming over for dinner.  My dad's making Chili, and we're celebrating my grandma and grandpa's birthdays.  My grandma's birthday is next weekend, and my grandpa's is this upcoming week.  ;)  We're going to have Red Velvet Cake.  :)  YUM!!!!  :D

I can't wait for Chibi to come over.  When at Dinner parties, we PARTY.  Like, eating, playing, laughing, dancing, the whole nine yards.  (except drinking.  We're not old enough for that yet.  :P)
My sister made me (keep my) promise to play American Girl dolls with her.  Actually, I like playing with her, because Chibi and I come up with the STRANGEST things to have the dolls do.  Someday, I'm going to write a book on all our crazy doll games.  We've got Matt and Emma, Emily and Emma, The Bitty Baby Game, the Dr. Philkkkkkk Game (that's not a typo), The Magic Moxie Girlz game, and multiple Barbie games.  We haven't  had a good game in a few years I'd say.  :P  Y'all don't know how insane we get when in doll game mode.  I'm seriously going to write a post on them all.   (be prepared for an uber-long post)  Chibi will probably co-write it.  ;)  Nutmeg too.  :D

I went to a big garage sale today!!!!!  Our town does one twice a year.  March and October.  Trash 2 Treasure.  I LOVE it!!!!!  :D  I got a bunch of great treasures.  :)  I got a Qui-Gon and Nabooian fish-thing action figure set, and a Tattooine Micro Figures set, and a bunch of Star Wars happy meal toys.  :)  I got five for a dollar.  ;)  I also got a really cute bag, and I got an old fashioned/ish Kelly doll (from Barbie)  The doll is really cute, and she's pretty big for a Kelly doll.  ;)  I also got an American Girl stuffed animal for 50 cents.  SCORE!  ;)  We also got a TON of great books!!!!  :D  I'm excited!  ;)  I'll post pictures later!  I've got to go finish cleaning/re-organizing my room!

So, I most likely won't be on again until tomorrow night, but I'm not dead (yet) Qui!!!!!!  I hope I can make it through a few more days without Wi-Fi.  I'll be fully back soon.  :)

February Challenge: Day 26

A Childhood Memory.............

I have too many of these.  I could go on for DAYS on memories.  I'll think of.....*1000000!!!!* 3.  I'll think of 3.  :)

1:  Disney.  Most of my memories are of Disney.  ;)
One of my absolute favorite memories is when Chibi*Chick, my parents and my sister and I went to Disney World and stayed at Fort Wilderness's Cabins.  That trip will be forever burned into my memory because it was so fun.  ;)  I lost my tooth, and Tinkerbell visited and brought us presents.  We rode horses, went swimming, played on the beach, and played in the forest.  We watched cartoons and cooked in the kitchen inside our cabin.  We celebrated my dad's birthday, and the restaurant sang to him.  :)  We went to Disney's Pirate and Princess party, and I was a Princess Pirate with Chibi.  :)  We wore like, TONS of eyeliner that day.  ;) 
More Disney Memories.....
Saratoga Springs trip.  Our room got upgraded from a regular room to a suite.  We got to sleep on the pull out couch in front of the flatscreen TV, eat and cook in our dinette, watch a Space Shuttle launch RIGHT FROM OUR WINDOW, play in the pool, and walk to Downtown Disney.  It was SOOOOO fun!!!!!  that's another trip that we'll never forget.  ;)
One more Disney memory.........
I don't know if this counts as "Childhood" because it was only last year.  My mom took me, Chibi and Nutmeg to Disney for a "Girls Only" trip.  That was probably the BEST trip to Disney we've ever gone on. :)  My favorite part was when Chibi and I got to go down to the lobby of our hotel ALL BY OURSELVES!!!!  :D  We felt so grown up.  *my mom is quite overprotective, so letting us go alone was a HUGE deal*  We walked casually down the hallway of our hotel, and then we turned the corner and started jumping up and down and squealing.  It was so fun.  We went to Magic Kingdom, rode roller coasters by ourselves, ate rock candy, and had the best time ever!!!  :D  The next day we went and chilled out at our hotel, which is my favorite hotel of ALL TIME!  Port Orleans Riverside.  It has a Louisiana "By the Bayou" feel to it, and the pool is beyond fun.  We spent all day in the pool and even got my mom to go down the slide!!!  :)  It was really fun.  ;)  The last day we went to Downtown Disney and got poisoned by some strange Icee lady at the candy store.  :P  Not really, but we like to think so.  LOL!!  We also made Dinosaurs at Build a Dino *like build a bear but dinosaurs* and ate at T-Rex, our favorite restruant.  ;)  That was so fun.  :D

Okay, so enough with the Disney memories.  I'll try and think of others.................

2: The Keys
We go to the Florida Keys ALOT.  We love it there.  ;)  I'll just tell one of many memories of being there.  ;) 
Chibi*Chick, Nutmeg and I were spending time in the Bay, that's right off of the house we stay in.  The water is like, IN our backyard.  So, we went in and were playing around, searching for shells, buried treasure and whatever else we could find.  Then Chibi and I found a baby crab the size of my thumb.  We put him in a bucket, named him Sherman Jr., and watched him play around for a little while.  My mom freaked out over a little crab that was near her, and got her clothes all wet.  :P  Later that day, we went to the nearby beach, and we found a skeleton of a lobster, and named it Sherman Sr. ;P  We walked around, listened to a bunch of toursists talk, and played in the water.  Then we built a sand sculpture snake.  My mom hates snakes, so of course we built one.  :P  Then, we went to the little bookstore in the town we stay in, and went shopping.  Chibi and I spent the rest of the day relaxing in our room and reading our books.  ;)  Best.  Day.  Ever.  ;)

3:  Summer.  Oh the stories I could tell about Summer, Bordom, and coming up with crazy things to do.  :P
I'll just tell one though.  ;) 
Okay, this is a little fact about me and my family.  We love dolls.  American Girl dolls to be specific.  I have like, 20 dolls.  I've been collecting for over 8 years.  One summer, a few years back, my sister, Chibi*Chick and I were bored, so we started a doll game.  This game will forever go down in history as the Matt and Emma game.  ;P  It was SO fun/crazy/hilarious.  ;)  Matt was the imaginary boy doll who was Emma's boyfriend/husband.  Emily was Emma's twin sister, and they originally had a fight, and ran away from their orphanage where they lived.  Then, Kirsten, Molly, and Elizabeth, (all Nutmeg's Dolls) were distraught that their adopted family ran away.  Then this evil lady who wanted to capture Emma and Emily for something they did a long time ago was chasing them and they had to run away and live in the woods.  Matt brought them clothes, water, food and supplies to build a house.  Then they lived in the woods.  Emma got a job and so did Emily, and Matt already had a job.  They all worked hard and eventually Emma and Matt got married.  It was SOOOO romantic!  :P  LOL!  Emily loved her sister and deep, deep, deep, deep, deep, DEEP down she loved Matt too, but they fought all the time and were crazy.  We have this funny thing, Chibi, Nutmeg and I where Matt sounds like a girl and has to, "Get his big voice on" because at the age of 8 and 9, doing a boy voice was really tough.  :P  We still will be silly and say, "Oh, let me get my big voice on, eh ah ohhh"  all the time.  It's like a running gag now.  :P  This game went on all summer, and for even years after that.  We've had over I'd say 12 different versions of the Emma and Matt game.  Someday I'm going to write them all up and publish 'em.  I might even do an Emma and Matt post, because the games are actually great book material.  ;)  I'll be at Chibi's tonight, so I'll discuss with her.  :P
