Well, I have alot of those. My hopes for the next 7 days are to get my schoolwork done so I can get the wi-fi back in the house. Right now, I'm blogging this from the shoestore, on my iPod, and I'm using their wi-fi. I'll be off blogger for a few days because I'm........*sniff* grounded! D: sorry everyone! I'll try and fix things so I can get back on before next weekend. I'll miss you all!! ;(

February Challenge: Day 27/My Saturday
A Physical Feature You Love..................
My eyes.
My hair.
My eyes are blue/green, but they change color depending on what color dress/shirt I'm wearing. ;) They're pretty! I've gotten a few compliments on my eyes. ;)
My hair is strawberry blonde, but it too changes color. When it's wet, it's brown to dark blonde, and when it's in the sun it's really blonde. When I'm inside and it's a good hair day, it's really pretty.
Yesterday was really fun!!!! Ohmyword, I have to blog all about yesterday. When I went home last night, before I passed out in my bed, I told myself, "I'm SOOO blogging about this!" So here I am, blogging about it. ;)
Well. First of all, I'm dedicating this post to Chibi*Chick, because I love her and she is so amazing on the Track field. ;) Love you Chibi!
Chibi*Chick's first real track meet was yesterday, and she was competing with all the other Catholic schools in the area with her school. She did AMAZING!!! She's so fast! Personally, Chibi came in third on the 200 meter dash, and then her team came in second in the 2x400 or something. I don't remember which one it was. Her school came in 2nd OVERALL!! I am so proud of her!! She's one of the fastest girls on her team. :D I told her that someday she's going to go to the Olympics, and I'll come, because I made her promise to get me free tickets. ;) LOL!
SOOOO, after sitting in the sun all morning at a track meet, I went and spent more time with Chibi*Chick and my grandparents, because my Mom and Dad were going to a wedding. :) They had fun, and boy did I have a blast. ;)
Last night Chibi was "babysitting" my sister and I while my parents went to the wedding. First thing we did was go inside and play on our laptops for a while. :) Then, we decided that we were burning daylight, and went outside. By that time, we already had this song in our heads:
We then were arguing over the lyrics. Chibi thought it was "Have the time of my life" and I thought it was "Hate the time of my life" Don't ask why, I don't know. :P Then, she looked it up on her iPod, and discovered that we were BOTH WRONG. It's "Had the time of my life" but Chibi insisted that Had is a derivative of Have, making her correct. She gets SO competitive sometimes, so I got annoyed. I said something along the lines of "Yeah, whatever" and then walked away to get the volley ball we were playing with. She turned around, still eating her Go-Gurt. She was like, "OHHH!! I was right! So HA! Oh, wait, or should I say, SO HAD!!!" I was just downright annoyed now, and I threw the volley ball at her head. It hit her hand, and smacked her Go-gurt tube all over her face. She had yogurt all over her face and Nutmeg, Grandma and I were laughing hysterically. ;P Well, Chibi got cleaned up, and then after we all calmed down, Grandma asked what we wanted for dinner. Chibi answered "REVENGE!" and then we went back outside. Chibi came out a little bit after me, and then she ran after me. She was carrying a bottle of Whipped Cream. To make a long story short, she had fun, and I had whipped cream all in my hair. I had to take a shower to get the stuff out of my hair. :P Then we ended our fun day with wings for dinner and root beer floats for dessert. ;) Oh, and we watched Percy Jackson! :) SO GOOD!!! I loved the movie, even if it changed SOO much from the book! :) Grover was really funny in the movie, more funny than I remember from the books. Percy was well......HOT. I really, REALLY like the way they did Percy. ;) Annabeth was awesome, but they did her appearance different from the book. Lot's of things happened in the book that DID NOT happen in the movie, and vice versa. The Lotus Casino was awesome. I loved that scene. ;) I also liked the Underworld part, because Persephone was really funny. ;) The Luke/Percy fight scene didn't happen in the book, but it was epic nonetheless. ;) Very awesome. :D Overall, I really liked it. ;)
So that was my Saturday. :) Today I went to a Viola lesson, and it went very well. :D Now, I have cleaning and schoolwork to do. :D Talk to y'all later!!!! :D

David Garrett
OHMYGOSH OHMYGOSH OHMYGOSH OHMYGOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just went to a David Garrett concert and I LOVE THIS GUY!!!!!!!!!!! :D
First of all, he was really hot. :)
Second of all, he's a really hot VIOLINIST!!!!! So I was thrilled. :D
He played the most INCREDIBLE songs! It wasn't just like, Bach, Beethoven, Vivaldi, etc. etc. He played Led Zepplin, Micheal Jackson, Pirates of the Carribean, and all sorts of rock and roll versions of famous classical songs too!!!! Here are a few of my favorites:
ISN'T HE COOL!!!!!
Alright, so we went to Miami for the concert.....which is a bit too big of a city for my taste. I felt so tiny. All the buildings were too big. :P Then again, I'm pretty short.....even if I was wearing high heels..... :)
Then we got to the theater and all these CRAZY fans were like....all over the stage and screaming and yelling at poor David Garrett. These weren't just a few screaming girls, these were screaming OLD WOMEN!!! The lady across the aisle from us was.........quite an interesting one. She was cat calling to the guy, screaming the names of the band members, yelling his name, I LOVE YOU, whistling, SCREAMING, being just....over the top loud. Eventually, the guy in front of us went to her at intermission and told her that she'd better keep quiet so everyone else could enjoy the show. :P
Then there was loud lady and her best friend, crazy dancing lady. They were....OLD and bizzarre. Loud Lady must've been to quite a few concerts in her life because she was like....DEAF. Her version of whispering was loud enough that I could hear her 4 ROWS AWAY. She liked to wolf whistle SO loud, my eardrums were ready to burst.....4 ROWS AWAY. *rolls eyes dramatically*
Crazy Dancing Lady was weird too. She kept screaming I LOVE YOU to David Garrett and was standing up and dancing in her seat like, the whole time. She was two rows down from me.
Then there were the really weird groupies who were in the front row and kept sitting at the edge of the stage taking video. Secruity came and sat by their seats because they wouldn't stay there. They were like, CRAWLING all over the theater for David Garrett. All I could think was, he's hot, and you're all not! They were OLD!!! Like, late fifties old! And they were all over this like, thirty year old guy!!!! Blech. It was so weird. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard.......... :P
I got a blister from wearing really mean high heels. It hurts.........
My Daddy was my date. We talked the whole way down to Miami.......well, actually, I did most of the talking, because he was driving and I had to get him caught up in my fanfic universe. ;) I read some great ones today.........I'm going to update my Fanfic page. ;) For Endor, because I think she's the only one who goes to the links! :P LOL!!
My dad took me to a really nice restruant, and we had a GREAT dinner!! Then we found parking, did a little sight seeing, and went to the theater. ;) I got all dressed up!! :D I wore my pretty Christmas dress, with my black high heels and hair in a half pony tail. We call it Samantha style, after the American Girl Doll's hair! LOL!
So that was my night!! It was really fun!!! ;D Hope you liked the videos!!!!!! :D

February Challenge: Day 26
A Childhood Memory.............
I have too many of these. I could go on for DAYS on memories. I'll think of.....*1000000!!!!* 3. I'll think of 3. :)
1: Disney. Most of my memories are of Disney. ;)
One of my absolute favorite memories is when Chibi*Chick, my parents and my sister and I went to Disney World and stayed at Fort Wilderness's Cabins. That trip will be forever burned into my memory because it was so fun. ;) I lost my tooth, and Tinkerbell visited and brought us presents. We rode horses, went swimming, played on the beach, and played in the forest. We watched cartoons and cooked in the kitchen inside our cabin. We celebrated my dad's birthday, and the restaurant sang to him. :) We went to Disney's Pirate and Princess party, and I was a Princess Pirate with Chibi. :) We wore like, TONS of eyeliner that day. ;)
More Disney Memories.....
Saratoga Springs trip. Our room got upgraded from a regular room to a suite. We got to sleep on the pull out couch in front of the flatscreen TV, eat and cook in our dinette, watch a Space Shuttle launch RIGHT FROM OUR WINDOW, play in the pool, and walk to Downtown Disney. It was SOOOOO fun!!!!! that's another trip that we'll never forget. ;)
One more Disney memory.........
I don't know if this counts as "Childhood" because it was only last year. My mom took me, Chibi and Nutmeg to Disney for a "Girls Only" trip. That was probably the BEST trip to Disney we've ever gone on. :) My favorite part was when Chibi and I got to go down to the lobby of our hotel ALL BY OURSELVES!!!! :D We felt so grown up. *my mom is quite overprotective, so letting us go alone was a HUGE deal* We walked casually down the hallway of our hotel, and then we turned the corner and started jumping up and down and squealing. It was so fun. We went to Magic Kingdom, rode roller coasters by ourselves, ate rock candy, and had the best time ever!!! :D The next day we went and chilled out at our hotel, which is my favorite hotel of ALL TIME! Port Orleans Riverside. It has a Louisiana "By the Bayou" feel to it, and the pool is beyond fun. We spent all day in the pool and even got my mom to go down the slide!!! :) It was really fun. ;) The last day we went to Downtown Disney and got poisoned by some strange Icee lady at the candy store. :P Not really, but we like to think so. LOL!! We also made Dinosaurs at Build a Dino *like build a bear but dinosaurs* and ate at T-Rex, our favorite restruant. ;) That was so fun. :D
Okay, so enough with the Disney memories. I'll try and think of others.................
2: The Keys
We go to the Florida Keys ALOT. We love it there. ;) I'll just tell one of many memories of being there. ;)
Chibi*Chick, Nutmeg and I were spending time in the Bay, that's right off of the house we stay in. The water is like, IN our backyard. So, we went in and were playing around, searching for shells, buried treasure and whatever else we could find. Then Chibi and I found a baby crab the size of my thumb. We put him in a bucket, named him Sherman Jr., and watched him play around for a little while. My mom freaked out over a little crab that was near her, and got her clothes all wet. :P Later that day, we went to the nearby beach, and we found a skeleton of a lobster, and named it Sherman Sr. ;P We walked around, listened to a bunch of toursists talk, and played in the water. Then we built a sand sculpture snake. My mom hates snakes, so of course we built one. :P Then, we went to the little bookstore in the town we stay in, and went shopping. Chibi and I spent the rest of the day relaxing in our room and reading our books. ;) Best. Day. Ever. ;)
3: Summer. Oh the stories I could tell about Summer, Bordom, and coming up with crazy things to do. :P
I'll just tell one though. ;)
Okay, this is a little fact about me and my family. We love dolls. American Girl dolls to be specific. I have like, 20 dolls. I've been collecting for over 8 years. One summer, a few years back, my sister, Chibi*Chick and I were bored, so we started a doll game. This game will forever go down in history as the Matt and Emma game. ;P It was SO fun/crazy/hilarious. ;) Matt was the imaginary boy doll who was Emma's boyfriend/husband. Emily was Emma's twin sister, and they originally had a fight, and ran away from their orphanage where they lived. Then, Kirsten, Molly, and Elizabeth, (all Nutmeg's Dolls) were distraught that their adopted family ran away. Then this evil lady who wanted to capture Emma and Emily for something they did a long time ago was chasing them and they had to run away and live in the woods. Matt brought them clothes, water, food and supplies to build a house. Then they lived in the woods. Emma got a job and so did Emily, and Matt already had a job. They all worked hard and eventually Emma and Matt got married. It was SOOOO romantic! :P LOL! Emily loved her sister and deep, deep, deep, deep, deep, DEEP down she loved Matt too, but they fought all the time and were crazy. We have this funny thing, Chibi, Nutmeg and I where Matt sounds like a girl and has to, "Get his big voice on" because at the age of 8 and 9, doing a boy voice was really tough. :P We still will be silly and say, "Oh, let me get my big voice on, eh ah ohhh" all the time. It's like a running gag now. :P This game went on all summer, and for even years after that. We've had over I'd say 12 different versions of the Emma and Matt game. Someday I'm going to write them all up and publish 'em. I might even do an Emma and Matt post, because the games are actually great book material. ;) I'll be at Chibi's tonight, so I'll discuss with her. :P

Love Will Prevail: Chapter 2
I decided I like the name. :) It might change, so.....*shrugs shoulders* yeah. ;)
Qui gave me some great advice in the last chapter's comments, and I think they helped this chapter along. ;) This is more of an info chapter, and it gives a bit more insight as to how Fallon and Jacob got to where they are. It also explains a bit about Fallon's past, and her past with Jacob........... ;D

It's medieval *ish* because they are in the King's army, but it's also slightly modern in the way they speak. Hence my overuse of the word "boyfriend". Qui gave me some great advice in the last chapter's comments, and I think they helped this chapter along. ;) This is more of an info chapter, and it gives a bit more insight as to how Fallon and Jacob got to where they are. It also explains a bit about Fallon's past, and her past with Jacob........... ;D

Chapter 2
Rubbing her eyes and snapping back to the present, Fallon quickly checked Jacob’s vital signs. She sighed a breath of relief. He was still alive. There was still hope. “When all else fails, you always have hope,” Fallon recited her mother’s wise words. How she missed her. Enemy raids killed both of her parents, now leaving her an orphan. How she wished that she could’ve been there on the night of the attack, to help fight for her parent’s lives, or at least say goodbye. Her aunt had told her that had she been there, she would’ve been killed as well, and though Fallon knew it to be true, she still didn’t want to believe it. It was now two years later, and she still ached over the loss of her parents. Shaking the painful thoughts and memories from her mind, Fallon looked at Jacob’s face hopefully, praying that he would wake up so that she could talk to him. So she could hear his voice. She smiled as she gently ran her fingers through Jacob’s dark hair. Gently kissing his cheek, she stood up and stretched her legs. “I’m hungry,” she thought to herself, and decided it was high time she went and found some food.
When Fallon returned a few minutes later, she noticed that Jacob’s breathing was smoother and he seemed to be more flushed than he was a few minutes ago. Her hope grew more sincere. Fallon almost shouted for joy when she saw his eyelid’s flutter as Jacob began to wake up. Jacob looked incredibly confused as he glanced around the clearing. His eyes widened as he met hers, and a few tears escaped her eyes as she leaned in and they kissed. Releasing the kiss, Jacob winced with pain and felt sharp throbbing tremor up and down his left side. He grabbed for it, but Fallon met his hand and stopped him. “Not yet,” she said quietly to him, “It’s healing. Don’t touch it.” He nodded slightly and looked up at her again. Softly, in a shaky voice he said, “What’s going on? Where are we?” Fallon gently brushed his cheek with her fingers and then explained what had happened. “You fought an outlander general?” he rasped, “And won?” Fallon nodded and felt her cheeks turn pink. “Yeah…he’s dead now, and he did that to you.” She explained and pointed to Jacob’s wounded side. Jacob shifted from where he lay on the ground to a half sitting position, but felt pangs of pain strike repeatedly. He gasped in pain and felt a few tears escape is eyes as he tried to ease himself down to the ground again. Fallon helped him and brought him to a resting position, with his back propped up comfortably against a soft, moss covered rock. Jacob winked at her and said, “Thanks.” He was gaining his voice back quickly now, and was feeling much better despite the extremely deep gash that was plaguing his left side. Fallon smiled. She was beyond relieved that Jacob was alive, and that he was awake and talking to her. Yet in the back of her mind, she knew that she needed to get Jacob back to the Kingdom, even if it was miles away. Last she remembered, she was fleeing the battle of Canarak with the rest of the King’s army. The war had been raging on for a little over a year, after the outer-laying provinces decided to join up and try and overthrow the King’s rule. King Zenith was a good, fair and just king, who was loved by all his subjects. He believed that the people should have a say in the government, and turned his Kingdom into a free place, where all people had rights, and were encouraged to explain problems or help they needed to the Council or the King himself. He was one of the only kings who allowed his wife to have as much rule as he had, and gave the women of his Kingdom the same rights as men. That was why Fallon was in the Military. She was a Knight, as was Jacob. They were both in the King’s army and very involved members of the Kingdom, even though they were only 16 years of age. They had met years ago when they were only small children. They had been best friends growing up, and dreamed of the day when they would be allowed to join the King’s Army together. When Jacob turned 13, he was enrolled in the Knights Academy, where he learned the basics of Knighthood, until he was old enough for the army. Fallon, by order of her mother, finished her grade schooling first, and then had to spend a year at her home, to help care for her new baby brother. That was when she was 13. When she was 14, she too enrolled in the Knights Academy, but was a year and a half behind her best friend. At the end of her first year in the Academy, the raids got worse, and it struck the one place she prayed they would never go, her home. The Out-Landers slaughtered her parents and neighbors, leaving her all alone to care for her baby brother. Cayden was sweet, but he was a baby. He didn’t know Mum and Dad enough to miss them, and thought of Fallon as his mum. Because Fallon was in the army, Cayden went with her and the other knights everywhere they went. The other knights had adopted Cayden as their own little brother, taking turns watching him whenever Fallon was out fighting. Their greatest fear was that one day Fallon wouldn’t come back, and they would have to explain to the almost 3 year old what had happened to his big sister. During her time in the Academy and the Army, Fallon became the best swordsman or swordswoman in all the Kingdoms. She could best even the grandest generals and even the most creative captains. Also when in the Army, Jacob and Fallon picked up their relationship, but it wasn’t until the summer on Fallon’s fifteenth birthday that she began thinking of Jacob as more than a friend…..

the sky, Fallon remembered and thought about all that had happened within the last few months. She had lost her parents, taken on the task of caring for her brother, joined and trained with the Army, and reunited her relationship with her best friend Jacob. As soon as she thought about him, Jacob appeared in the doorway to the small Army base in the Kingdom, their home for the past few months. Hearing the door open and close, Fallon spun around and smiled to see Jacob coming towards her. He had one hand behind his back. Sitting down next to her, Jacob grinned and placed a small white box in her lap. “What’s this?” She asked him playfully pushing his shoulder. Jacob laughed a bit and said, “Open it and find out.” Rolling her eyes, Fallon pulled the top of the box off and became shocked. Inside was a beautiful pendant. The gem that hung from the chain was a blue stone in the shape of a heart, and the chain was durable silver. Jacob smiled his brightest smile. Running his hand through his dark hair, he asked sort of sheepishly, “Do you like it?” Gaping at the beautiful necklace, Fallon nodded, and met her best friend’s eyes. “It’s beautiful. Thank you Jacob I love it!” She gave him a hug, and they locked eyes. Suddenly, before either of them knew what was happening, Jacob leaned in, and the two kissed. Shock beginning to set in, they both awkwardly leaned away. “Ummm,” was all Jacob could manage. Then he shook his head and stood up. “Happy early birthday, and…you’re going to be a great knight. I know it.” Fallon nodded and stood up as well. She hugged him again and said, “Thank you. Thank you so much.” Jacob smiled and wrapped his arms around her waist. They stayed like that for a moment, and kissed again. Oddly, Fallon felt so a peace, more happy than she had felt in months. She didn’t shy away from his kiss, like she would’ve thought, but instead hoped he would deepen it. She felt a sudden change in her heart. The boy who was her best friend for her entire life was now more than that. He wasn’t just her friend to play games with in the village courtyard, he was a Knight now, and she was in love with him.

February Challenge: Day 25
A Recipe..............
These are some of my FAVORITE cookie/candies from the Holidays. I get to make them every year. ;)
Church Window Candies:
1 cup chocolate chips
2 tsp. butter of margarine
3 cups of miniature marshmellows
1 egg beaten
1/2 cup of nuts (optional)
1 cup shredded coconut
Here's what you do....
Melt the chocolate chips and butter in the microwave until they are liquidy
Quickly mix in the beaten egg (hurry or the chocolate will harden!)
Cool for a minute and then pour the egg/chocolate/butter mix into the marshmellows and nuts (In a seperate bowl)
Sprinkkle coconut on wax paper
Form two log shaped rolls from the marshmellow/nuts/chocolate mix. put on Wax paper
roll the wax paper around the logs and pinch the ends of the paper with clothespins to keep shut.
Freeze until ready to serve. Should be hard when removed from freezer/fridge
Cut up and enjoy!!!! :D

Our turtles are officially moved into their new house. ;)

I took all the pictures, and I set up the tank. ALL BY MYSELF! (proud moment)
And I only broke 5 things!!! :P Don't worry, I fixed them....duct tape works wonders you know!! :)

My sister is CRAZY!!!!!
*sigh*
I'm going to lose my mind.

And it's all my sister's fault. She's been trying to get me off of my iPod/Datapad because I was reading a REALLY funny fanfic. She threw every single stuffed animal I own at my head, and hit me more than once. She acted out each stuffed animal, asking it if it liked me, or wanted to go with me. Then she chucked them at my head.
Here's what's been going on:
Nutmeg: Mr. Whale, do you want to go with your mommy??? *me*
Whale: NOOOOOOO!!!!!! I HAAAAAAATTE HEEEEEEERRR.
Nutmeg: Okay Mr. Whale, you can stay with me. *smiles*
Yes, my sister speaks whale.
Nutmeg: Jedi~Chick!!!!!!! Padme!!!!!! *First Name Here*!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOOK AT ME!!!!!!!!!!!
*I didn't really hear her....*
Nutmeg: I have your llama!!!!!!
Me: GIVE ME MY LLAMA!!!!!!
Nutmeg: NO! He's mine now!!! Besides he doesn't like you! *sticks out tongue and makes fake spitting noises*
Me: ARGH!!!!! *charges sister and takes llama, then returns to bed and iPod*
Nutmeg: *frowns*

OMGosh, she just shoved a pirogi in my face!!!! And stabbed my lip with a fork!!!!!! I think I'm bleeding! :P
So. My room is trashed. :( I'm going to have to clean it. :( Even though I just did. :(
My dearest sister Nutcase....oops, NutMEG, has multiple personalities. She's Polly Ester, Abraham Lincoln and the Woolly Mammoth. It's such a long (and hilarious) story. :P Email me if you want the whole multiple personalities story. ;P
OH MY GOSH. I just finished dinner and came into my room to see my dad's robe coming from under my closet door. I opened and my sister was wrapped in the robe and screamed, "CAN'T YOU READ?!?!? The sign says: DO NOT DISTURB YODA!!!!!" then she blabbed on in a Yoda accent (which was HORRIBLE) and continued to yell at me for not reading her sign. :P
Enough on my sister. I've got to get ready for dance. I have to do perrididles double time, and I've been practicing. ;)

A Way In Which I Want To Be Remembered..................
A kind person, a Child of God, a good friend, daughter, granddaughter, and good sister/cousin. A loving person, a Star Wars fanatic, a homeschooler, and a good mother and wife. ;)
I stole the last part *mother and wife* from Endor.....but in truth I'd love to be remembered for that too. I would love to have a family some day.....but all in God's time. ;)

Okay, this one I've got. ;)
The Lakehouse. It's a forum for Christian girls who are as obsessed with Star Wars as I am. ;P Leia created it, and Amaranthine and I are Mods there. :) I love that site!! I think all of my followers *besides my parents* are on the site already though.
So......
Goodreads. :) This is my new favorite website. You can keep track of all your favorite, least favorite, and need-to-read books. It's really fun too. :) You can also publish writings and comment on your friend's reviews. And you can *of course* write reviews!! ;) I'm on there as Fallon Skywalker, and I know that Leia, Endor and Qui are on there as well. ;)

News!
We got a turtle habitat, but we can't set it up until my sister and I prove that we can be responsible enough to take care of the turtles. ;)
I composed a music piece!! I actually just re-arranged a bunch of Star Wars songs to create my own medely of them. ;) I might use it for a concert. I worked really hard on it, so I'm going to show it to my teacher in a few hours. :) I'll let y'all know how it goes!! :D
I'm going to a concert on Friday!!!! :D I'm so excited! My dad and I are going to see David Garrett, who plays like, rock and roll on the violin. :) My great grandpa bought me the tickets for my birthday. Now I'm getting to go!!!! Yay! So the no Clone Wars thing this week actually works out for me! :P
I think that's all.......
Have a great rest of the day!! I probably won't be back on until later, since I have dance tonight. :)

February Challenge: Day 21
Something that I do differently from everyone else..........
Holding a pencil. Yes, I hold a pencil "wrong".
This is how you're supposed to hold it.......
And here's how I hold it...............
I know, weird right!! But seriously, I can't write any other way. I wasn't corrected as a kid on it, and now, being the stubborn teenager that I am, I really can't be broken of that habit!! Trust me, for our first year of homeschooling, my mom tried. She just gave up. :P
So, I decided that, based on my response from the first chapter of my story that I will update it here on my blog every Friday. :) It will give me motivation to write. I might also, if I run out of chapters and/or inspiration for that story, post random fanfics I've written. :)
I updated my FanFic page and I think my Contacts page too. :)
Also, Happy Presidents Day!!!
I was at Orchestra tonight, and the conductor asked what presidents we were celebrating today. *It was a rhetorical question* and at least 4 kids said Barack Obama. I was going to scream. I said, *probably somewhat rudely* "NO! We are celebrating the birthdays of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln!!! NOT President Obama." What has this world come to that we don't even know what we are celebrating on President's Day?!? More than half of the kids didn't even know it was President's Day, they just knew they were off of school. :P I was sorta annoyed at Orchestra then. :P
Anyway.......

My Story: Part One
Alright.....alright!!!!!! I promised to post it so here it is.....Part one of a story that has no name yet. It's probably not that great, so any and all encouragement/advice would be helpful!!!!! :) Thanks!
Ok, that was Chapter 1. If you want I'll post more next friday or possibly sooner depending on how much y'all like it. ;) That last part was a flash back, so the next chapter starts off back in the present. The whole thing is pretty darn mushy gushy. :P

She reached down with one hand and gently touched his cheek. With tear filled eyes she propped up his head on her lap, holding his hand all the while. Incredibly weak and unable to talk, he gave her a reassuring look with his eyes. She returned the look and held him gently. Kissing him over and over, she allowed herself to cry for the first time in years. As she looked into the eyes of her beloved, she knew that there had to be something she could do. Surveying his wounds, she realized that the damage was pretty bad. Anyone else would’ve looked at the situation logically and said, “It’s the end, he’s going to die,” but she wasn’t just anyone. She closed her eyes and sent up a prayer, and then carefully began to clean his wounds. “Please, please, baby just stay with me,” she murmured to him as she tried to stop his bleeding. “You can’t leave me. I love you too much.” Glancing around the dense forest that they were sitting in, she stood up, and left the small clearing to find some healing herbs, like the ones she learned about in her classes. Returning with a small handful of leaves, her heart thudded in her chest as she saw his eyes were closed, and his chest was unmoving. As she neared closer, she was able to see that he was still breathing, but his breaths were incredibly shallow. Crushing the herbs with a small stone and carefully rubbing them into his wounds, she watched as the swelling lessened. She knelt beside him and prayed that he would be alright. After all they’d been through, he couldn’t leave her. Not now….not ever. Still crying, she tenderly and lovingly kissed him on his lips.
Several hours later, she awoke with a start. Was it all just a dream? She looked to her left and upon seeing his battered but still breathing body, memories flooded back to her. The war, the battles, the armies, the death toll, and she remembered watching him fall besides her, dying. She remembered leaping from her horse in the midst of the battle, rushing to his aid, she remembered hearing the others telling her to move on, and keep going, or she’d get killed too. She remembered finding him alive, and carrying his body to her horse and taking him with her for almost a mile, before the enemy caught up with them. With the armies retreating, she could do nothing but follow. Worried and near hysterical with fear, she felt the horse being shot out from underneath her, and felt him stir at her side. The horse dead, she dragged his maimed body to the edge of the clearing, and met the enemy who had followed her….
“So, the weak one shows her pathetic face once again.” She shook her head, and grimaced with disgust. The evil man in front of her was ready to kill her. She knew it. She held her sword at the ready, prepared to fight and die while battling this….monster. Too many of her friends were killed by his ruthlessness. Her own parents were murdered by him. She wasn’t going to be next. Her back to her injured boyfriend, she prepared to face the deadly man before her. Her blue eyes flashed as she felt the thrill of the battle run through her veins. “ARGHHHH!!!!!” the monster yelled, leaping toward her. She blocked his every blow with her sword and fought fiercely. The man shouted threats, “I’ll kill you!! I’ll decapitate you! I’ll hit you so hard you won’t know what happened!” When he saw him behind her, her darling boyfriend who nearly was dying, he forced himself toward him. Then breaking from the battle, the man/monster stood behind her boyfriend, pulling out his silver dagger and holding it to the injured and unconscious boy’s throat. “NO!” she gasped, her eyes filling with tears. “Now young lady, lay down that weapon of yours, and you just let me take you with me, and I won’t hurt you’re little friend here.” His heavily accented voice made her cringe with displeasure. Unable to speak for fear of her tears escaping her, she carefully knelt down, placing her sword in front of her. Cautiously eyeing her enemy, she watched as he smiled and evil smile, his yellow teeth glaring in his mouth. “Good,” he said, “You will make an excellent prisoner of war….taking direction so well.” Then he grinned again, and with a glare of evil toward her, he began to remove his dagger…..and immediately she understood what he was about to do. An old trick of war….he was going to still slit his throat. She glanced down at her sword, and just as the older man redrew his dagger and prepared to slice it across her boyfriend’s throat; she kicked her sword up and across the clearing, hitting the man squarely in the gut. With a grunt and a gasp, he fell forward, still managing to plunge his dagger into her boyfriend’s side before falling forward to his death. “Nooo!!!!!” She shrieked, immediately running to his side. Pulling out the dagger, she carefully removed his armor and shirt to assess his wound better. The damage was terrible, and it was not going to heal on its own. She then began to cry, for the first time in years. She cried, cried at the thought of losing the one person who didn’t care who she was, where she came from, or what she had done, but the person who saw her for her, and loved her as much as she loved him. “No,” she whimpered, feeling his breathing slowing. “Jacob, please, stay with me. I need you….I love…I love you.” Jacob’s eyes fluttered open slightly, and he instantly clutched his side and groaned in pain. She tried to calm him down. “No, no, stop, you have to stay calm.” She told him, forcing him to release his grip on his side. She gasped as she looked down at his blood drenched hand. Tears dripped down her cheeks as she looked at Jacob’s face. She loved him so much. If only he could make it long enough to get him back to the Kingdom….. Jacob’s eyes fluttered again, and it was apparent he was losing consciousness. “Fallon, I….I’m…so....sorry….I love….you” he breathed before passing out. Burying her face on his chest, she let the sobs escape her lips, and prayed to the Lord that he would survive. She couldn’t go on without him. There was no way.

February Challenge: Day 18/Randomness

I'll give a quick update on my sister......she's fine. That's it, just fine. She's figured out how to use the crutches without falling down and killing herself. We're gonna watch Star Wars tonight.......and I'm still sleeping on the recliner in our family room......because my sis is on the couch and she doesn't want to be alone. I actually don't mind, the recliner is really comfortable! ;)
I'm over at my cousin Chibi*Chick (formerly Ember)'s house for a pizza party. Our families often have dinner parties and tonight is pizza night. And yes, I am blogging. ;) Chibi doesn't mind, we're on the computer together. She's on her MacBookAir and I'm on my bulky Toshiba laptop. ;) TeeHee, I love you bulky Toshiba laptop! :P
Funny story of the day.......I've just GOT to blog on this one. ;)
Chibi*Chick, Nutmeg and I were playing Apples to Apples Disney Edition *funnest game ever!!!!!!! and yes I know that funnest isn't a word!!!! :P* so we were playing the game at the kitchen table and I was showing Chibi a video on my iPod while we took a break from the game. Nutmeg was getting bored, so while we were distracted, she started to drink her water bottle. Then, something inside the bottle *it was a suck it out of a lid type of bottle* was getting stuck and she wanted it out. So she started squeezing the bottle over a bowl of frozen yogurt that she was eating. The next thing I *and Chibi*Chick* knew, there was a water and yogurt explosion. It was SO funny. We screamed, and then started bursting out laughing. It was really hilarious. I had to clean the kitchen though, and wipe down all the cards and my iPod. It was so funny!!!! ;) My sister didn't even get her cast wet, which was the good part! :D
So, onto other things. I've realized that my posts are long and slightly random. I don't have a set theme, and I don't have a schedule. Should I have one? I like Qui's schedule and I'd sorta want to have one like that. Any ideas anyone?? Or is my blog okay the way it is? I think I'm gonna work on the widths a bit to try and get the post itself bigger. I don't know....it just seems so......squished. :P
The poll closes in three hours. I'll just post the results now, since I don't think anyone else will vote in three hours.

OH! This is a random bit of information that I just had to share. Does anyone besides me and Chibi*Chick remember the show called Zoboomafoo?? The one with the Ring-Tailed Lemur and the two brothers who loved animals?? Well, my sister was watching this show called Wild Kratts on TV and I was telling Chibi*Chick how much the show reminded me of Zoboomafoo. We looked up Zoboomafoo on YouTube on my Datapad/iPod and then we were SO surprised/excited to find out that the two brothers from Wild Kratts *Chris and Martin Kratt* were the SAME EXACT brothers from Zoboomafoo!!!!!!!! Only about 10 years older!!!!!!!!! Now we are obsessed with the guys. :P LOL!

So that's that.
I was reading some great FanFic's last night and I'm once again in love with Han Solo. <3 He's so sweet.......and I love him!!!! :D LOL!

February Challenge: Day 17

So that was my pieces of art for today........now for some updates....just for fun. ;)
Today was much better than yesterday. ;) I did end up going to P.E., but I was really tired and my neck/shoulder hurt and still hurts from sleeping in the recliner last night, and carrying my sister around yesterday. My sister is doing better!!! Her foot still hurts, but she is doing much better today. She got to visit her friends at P.E., even though we had to wheel her up to the shelter at the park. She got to spend time with her best friend, who had fun pushing my sister's rental wheelchair around the walking path in the park we were at.
My friend Maryanna and I had fun naming all the kickballs in the teamball sport at P.E. We named them all Star Wars names. I had Han Solo for most of the game......but sometimes I had Leia. ;) LOL! We had fun.

P.S. I was looking through files on my computer today, and I found something I wrote months ago that was 35 pages and over 15,000 words!!! I don't know how I forgot about it!!!!!!! LOL! ;D

All about Today/It's a long story
Wow. I'm exhausted. And it's only 6:00. Today seems to be SO long.
I went to the park with my mom and my sister! We had a picnic lunch, and then we did school, and then we went to Butterfly World, which is like a HUGE butterfly garden with bird aviaries and flowers. It was so much fun!!!
I'll post pictures as soon as I load them....but here are some from my last visit to Butterfly World. We have the year pass, so we can go just about whenever we want to! ;)
I took all those. Aren't they pretty??? :P
So, after we went in the gardens and ate lunch and did some school work, my mom let my sister play on the playground in the park next door. My sister went to play and I sat with my mom, in the shade and watching my sister with a pair of binoculars, just to drive her crazy. :P Then she went to do the monkey bars, (which she has always had trouble doing) and things got crazy.
Nutmeg *my sister* fell from the monkey bars and landed on her ankle funny. She started to cry, and then scream. My mom and I ran to her, *she was lying on the ground in pain* and tried to help her up. She couldn't move her foot, and we ended up having to take her to an emergency center. We got X-Rays and was examined, and found out that she sprained it REALLY bad. She can't use it at all for 3 days and then if it still hurts so bad that she can't put /any/ pressure on it, we have to take her to a special doctor. She might have dislocated her growth plate if it still hurts by then. I feel SO bad for her!!!!!!!
Please pray for my little sis, she's still shaking and upset that she can't do anything for three to five days. She's been crying a lot, *from pain and frustration* and she can't use the crutches *they make her scared* so we rented her a wheelchair. Now she is wearing a splint and a cast, and has been using the wheelchair to get around. Now I have to take care of her!! I'm probably going to miss P.E. tomorrow morning, so I can look after her. ;)
So that was my day.....the park, the doctor, then to an ice cream shop and a toy store to help my sister feel better. :)

Oh, this one is SO easy. :P
That one was played at Church last week and it made me sob. The music video is what did it to me. You guys watch for yourself. So.............*sobs*..............SAD!!!!!! It has a happy ending though.

Funny Stories Night!!!!
LOL! This idea came to me via Chibi*Chick (AKA E! E changed her name and we decided on Chibi*Chick. Learn why on my new family and friends page!) anyway, we were talking and reminicing about all our crazy stories of funny things that have happened to us, and decided that we should do a post on it together. Chibi*Chick is going to be my co-blogger for a while! ;) I'm so excited about that!! She's going to help me come up with posts and sometimes write them. I'll *of course* give her credit when she helps, and this is one of those times!! ;)
These stories are all true by the way!! :D LOL!
Story #1: Re-Told by Jedi~Chick
So, it was about.....11:30 at night, and while on vacation, Chibi*Chick and I were sitting upstairs in our own room that we share being spazzy. I had stayed up the night before until around 7:00 in the morning before sleeping at all. Chibi*Chick had stayed up until about 3 or 4. So, this night, it was New Years Eve, and as tradition in our family states, we stay up to watch the fireworks. So, with a half and hour to go, my night/day that I spent up WAAAY to late caught up with me and I lost it. I was reading a FanFic, *of course* and it was making me cry. Soon I was crying pretty badly, my emotions already out of whack, and then Chibi*Chick played a song that made me SOB so bad. I then went hysterical, unable to control myself. I was so crazy. I was screaming, laughing and crying at the same time. I ran downstairs and my mom thought someone was dying by the way I was freaking out. We all laugh about it now, but I was so embarrassed after it happened. I'm NEVER staying up that late again!!!! LOL! XD

Story #2: Told by Chibi*Chick
Ok so once Jedi~Chick and I were on the dock at our vacation home that our grandparents own. Then we saw a guy boating in a no-wake zone. He was going SUPER SLOW and we both began to laugh. It was really funny. Then, the guy got annoyed with us and sped up, but almost flipped his boat! LOL! we were laughing even more, because he got all freaked out. That was SO funny, we still laugh about it today! XD
Story #3: Told by Jedi~Chick
So, Chibi*Chick and I had just finished reading Hoot by Carl Hiassen. We decided to be "naturalists" that day and went outside to go hug a tree. We literally hugged the tree!!! LOL! Then suddenly, a bunch of ants climed up and down the tree, all over our arms. We FLIPPED OUT! We were screaming and crying *we were probably like 6 or 7* and so ended our adventure in nature. We decided that naturalists were NOT what we wanted to be when we grew up!! LOL!
Story #4: Told by Chibi*Chick
WELL, Jedi~Chick and I were in the Keys, hanging in our room upstairs sleeping actually, and I decided to wake Jedi~Chick up. I then walked out the door and headed downstairs *it was like 4 in the morning* and she just followed. Then we had some fun. We went into the kitchen and started to pig out on sugar. We ate sugar cubes right out of the bowl, and had soda from the mini fridge in the laundry room. Then we had our breakfast, which consisted of cold pizza, bananas and maple syrup, and milk. After that, we were on a sugar high and we rolled around laughing our heads off in the kitchen for a while and then ran upstairs and crashed before anyone could find out what had happened. We still laugh about it now!! LOL! :)

A Person You Admire.........
Gah!! That is SO hard!!!!
My Dad. I love my dad. He cooks, he cleans, and he loves my mom, sister, and I to the ends of the earth. I pray that someday I'll find a man as great as him! ;)
My Mom. She's my mom, my teacher and my guidence counselor in everything. I love her. I admire her because she homeschools us *my sister and I* and has so much patience, even when we are being difficult. I'm so grateful for everything she does for us. ;)
It's my dad's birthday today!!!!!! He's 24!!!! Again!!!!!! :) Hehe.... Wish him a happy birthday here: Farm Boy at Heart that's his blog.....its really nostalgic and old-timey, but very sweet!!!! :)
I think that's it for today's post!!! :) I'm going to work on a few pages and then finish another post. :)

A Vacation I would like to take.........

Georgia! *again, because I went there a few years ago and I loved it!!!!*
Disney World, even though I have been there a billion times over, it's still my favorite place ever!!!!! :)
The Florida Keys, because once again, even though I've been there more than a billion times I love it more than anywhere....except Disney. :P
I think that's it......I'd also love to go to Illinois, because that's where all my extended family lives. :)

I hope you all have a great Valentines day!!! Even though I am single, and not in love or dating yet, I know that I will be in God's perfect time. I'll wait for when God decides it's time. I'm not in a hurry!! ;) HeeHee. ;)
I was reading a romance last night to get in the mood. That is, after writing romance for about 2 hours, and listening to love songs on my iTunes on the computer!! LOL! Anyway, the romance I read was in the book IronHeart by Victoria Kasten. It was so sweet. I squealed into a pillow because I was up too late reading. SO SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D It was so happy. The Queen lady, who's also the Chosen One, fell in love with one of her friends and officers in her army. They decided to get married, and now she's expecting a baby in the story! I can't wait to read more!!! LOL! I had to put it down last night because it was getting extremely late and I had to get up early the next morning. ;)
So......Romance.....back on topic!
My favorite romance is Star Wars Romance! ;) The romance in Star Wars is what really got me hooked. I didn't even know that there was even romance in Star Wars at all until I watched ESB. That's when I fell in love with Star Wars.....and Han Solo! ;) LOL! Now I love all things romantic.....I squeal when I watch people fall in love in movies, read about it books, or hear about it in conversations *i spelled it right this time! LOL!* Love is something I look forward to, but I know that right now I am loved. My family and friends love me and most importantly, God loves me. I am Christ's Valentine. I'm going to /hopefully/ go to the Christan store tonight with my dad on the way home from orchestra. I want to look at the purity rings! ;) I'm going to talk to my parents about letting me have one. They said when I turned 16, but I want one before then. :)
Jesus loves you! This I know! For the Bible! Tells me so!!!!

February Challenge: Day 13
A Guilty Pleasure......
FanFiction. Oh boy, Fanfiction is DEFINTELY my guilty pleasure. I spend WAAAAAAAAY too much time reading those things!!!!! Read my FanFiction page, I added to it. :P Of course I did!! LOL!
Right now I'm reading a Siri-Wan Fic, where Siri didn't die but instead went into a coma and then she came back after ROTS and married Obi-Wan and they watched over Luke in Obi-Wan's little hut on Tatooine together!! SO SWEET!!!! I cried......
I also have found a few great Anakin/Ahsoka FRIENDSHIP stories. No slash. I loved them!!! I'm going to find them again and post them on my FanFic page....so stay tuned. Very sweet. I laughed on most of them!! The others I squealed. ;P LOL!
I'm working on another post with my cousin E, who I am now calling Chibi*Chick, because.....well, it's a long story. Read my Friends and Family page. :P

Creative Characters, and Story Writing
Today I did my "How to Write a Story" program by Lee Roddy with my mom. She reads it and I take notes, and then we discuss it. I, being the crazy author of the household, try and take a LOT of notes. Here are some of them from the newest chapter, on Creating Characters.
Characters Make A Story! Characters and Conflict are at the heart of every story.
Characters exist to create an emotional response in readers through conflicts in the story. At least one character must change, (usually the viewpoint character) by either growing or deteriorating by what happens in the story. The reader must identify with the MC. *main character*
Other Characters: These should be kept to a minimum so that the focus is always on the conflict between teh MC and the adversary. Unless a character is important to the story, omit him/her. *I'm SO bad at this!! I always have more characters than I need!!*
Character Traits: Action reveals character. It has been proven that a person's thinking or beliefs determine how he/she acts. In other words, action follows belief. SO if you understand how your characters think, you will know how they should act. *I think I've got this down....maybe!*
Always keep characters to the minimum number required to tell the story. Don't make it difficult for the reader to keep characters apart or the reader may not continue to read the narrative. At least 2 and usually 3 or more characters are needed. They are:
1. Main Character or Hero/Heroine
2. An Advasary who opposes the MC
3. Other important story people who are necessary for the story's depvelopment. Always keep these to a minimum so the focus is on the MC and his/her struggles to achieve the goal.
I'm really bad at that. My mom gave me an AWESOME suggestion! I reccomend that all my other writer friends try this too. I'm going to create a Character notebook. I'll create characters, and give them personality, sketch them, describe them, and all that fun stuff, but save them until I need them, so I don't overwhelm my story with characters. I'm going to Wal-Mart in a few minutes to go buy a few notebooks to do this!! I'm really excited! I come up with great characters all the time, but never get anywhere with them! :P
My story is coming along, and I think I will post it. I just have to edit a bit, and I'm nervous that it's bad! Alot of you have been writing longer than me, and this is only the second or third story that I've started that might actually amount to something. Thanks for your encouragement in the poll though....except for E. *coughevilcough* ;D
